There's no special item needed to upgrade these equipment, they can be upgraded with Aqua and Inferno!

FWIW, I'm glad the banner upgrade system is now more rational. The upgrade levels give a consistent 0.5% increase (unlike the deeply unfair "Cast Of Falcons") while keeping Charlie's slightly increased drop-rate for mid-reward levels. My Preview tab isn't available right now but iirc there are six upgrade levels? The last one with a higher jump in precentage increases is a sop to Big players, but for me 5 upgrades is do-able with a push. You might make more players happier stats-wise if there were double the upgrade levels at 0.25% consuming half the number of tokens. My only request for these event series is that if you have two reward tiers offering the same piece of equipment then the higher tier should come with that equipment partially or fully upgraded, a la "Lay of the Rimelands".

Anyone else having problems enchanting the spaulders of illumination past level 9? Unbelievably, I blew through over 280 aqua and inferno trying to upgrade this garbage over the course of the past week. 11 consecutive fails at LEVEL NINE. I understand the chances for success become lower and that arguably after 2 or 3 fails level 10 is simply not worth it but come on.......... Thats a lot of aqua........ Like 1,400 xtals worth of aqua...
