The Ometotchtli have been around KAW for almost four years, maybe you have heard of or seen us. On the other hand, maybe not, as we have attempted to blend in. And where we have not been able to blend in, we have attempted to appear cute and cuddly to give our foes the illusion of security. But remember, just like you didn't see the gun above, you don't see every side of an OMET! And while we try to blend in most of the time, every once in a while we come out of the shadows in force. Now is one of those times. So, why now? Well even a bunny needs to eat, right? Well after our first public appearances during Season One of the EE wars, we were not prepared for the massive numbers who tried to join us. And so now that we have purged ourselves of wanna-bes we are back with every shape and form of OMET. It took us a while to work out the kinks and find a way to eliminate cute wanna-be-bunnies from the warrior rabbits.....but we worked it out And so now that we have purged ourselves of wanna-bes we are back with every shape and form of OMET. And you can be sure that the ones that "appear" cute have all sorts of hidden surprises in store.. All of this may cause you to ask ... So who are the OMETS? What are they about? What are their purpose? Well these questions lead back to mysterious ancient origins... But I will skip the history and tell you I think the best way to describe OMETs is as an elite organization of mature players who belong both to many different clans and the OMET society. Think about us as illuminati of KAW. We watch you all from many places... We also train in different styles of OSW war than others have seen. For example, we manly use psychological war tactics from our inspiration Sun Tzu. No, this doesn't mean we are Psycho .... or does it? Actually our war tactics are derived from Sun Tzu's philosophy that: "All warfare is based on deception. Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak. Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of your opponent's fate. Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of responses, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment -- that which they cannot anticipate." So now you may notice this whole rabbit thing and wonder what it all about. This thread is an early explanation viewtopic.php?f=7&t=147040 but the truth is that it all is derived from the Aztec mythology of the 400 rabbit gods. More specifically, one of these 400 drunk rabbit gods was OMETOTCHTLI. Centzon Totochtin In Aztec mythology, the Centzon Totochtin ("four-hundred rabbits"; also Centzontotochtin) are a group of deities who meet for frequent parties; they are divine rabbits, and the gods of drunkenness. These were the four hundred Gods in charge of booze-ups, each representing a different level of intoxicated state, and were renowned in Aztec times for their legendary shin- digs. As you can imagine, with so much Pulque (Mith ) being quaffed details are a little hazy. The only certainty is that, for whatever reason, each member was known as 'rabbit' and given a numerical prefix. Some of their named members include Tepoztecatl, Texcatzonatl, Colhuatzincatl Macuiltochtli ("five-rabbit") and Ometotchtli ("two-rabbit"). Their parents were Patecatl and Mayahuel, and they may have been brothers of Ixtlilton. Next is the king of our little group, Tepoztecati, .. Tepoztecatl In Aztec mythology, Tepoztecatl (or Tezcatzontecatl) was the god of pulque, of drunkenness and fertility. The deity was also known by his calendrical name, Ometochtli (2 Rabbit). He is a consort of Mayahuel, who is a mask-avatar of Xochiquetzal. According to Aztec myth, Tepoztecatl was one of the Centzon Totochtin, the four hundred children of Mayahuel, the goddess of the maguey plant, and Patecatl, the god that discovered the fermentation process. As a deity of pulque, Tepoztecatl was associated with fertility cults and Tlaloc. Tepoztecatl was also associated with the wind, hence deriving an alternative name of Ehecacone, son of the wind. You can also find information on OMETS in some of our clans, while many are hidden, we do have a few public ones like Tlalocan. Tlalocan Tlalocan is also the first level of the upper worlds, or the Aztecs' thirteen heavens. To the Aztec there were thirteen levels of the Upper Worlds, and nine of the Underworld; in the conception of the Afterlife the manner of a person's death determined which of these layers would be their destination after dying. As a destination in the Afterlife, the levels of heaven were reserved mostly for those who had died violent deaths, and Tlalocan was reserved for those who had drowned or had otherwise been killed by manifestations of water, such as by flood or in storms by strikes of lightning. Tlalocan is depicted as a realm of unending Springtime, with an abundance of green foliage. As an Omet, you are a member of a special group in KAW. We try to carry ourselves quietly and we try to blend into the clans we call our home clans. We also try not to post to the forums unless it is in a helpful way as we don’t want to create too many links to our accounts for those times we enter OSW wars nor give anyone a basis to rally others against us. Further, we never post walls in an antagonistic fashion which is also something to remember for OSW. Our strategy is to never give an opponent a basis to rally their members against us. We strike silently and privately and if we talk, it is in private message in clan chat on our own walls or not at all. To be an OMET you must have a strategic form of thinking. We have only three rules but these three form the basis for our guide and for our philosophy of war that takes its core from Sun Tsu and some modern military psy ops strategy manuals. As an OMET we attempt to blend-in in other ways, for example, our names are always similar, starting with the base name of OMETOTCHLI or two-rabbit the Aztec god. This form of naming is part of our war strategy in that it camouflages our true identities, from our enemies when they are hit by many of us all at once they will see in their war history similar names which will blend together. As well it helps camouflage our identity from each other so that none of us will have a clear knowledge of all of the other OMETS. However, as having similar names acts as a natural camouflage, at the same time, each name emanates the name of the deadly society we are all part of. Like the tattoo of an ancient mercenary order or a Shao-Lin monk, we are free to roam and wander KAW and those encountering us know us, they know what to expect from us and they know to provide us with a wide berth. And no, you don't need to get a Tattoo to be a member, but heck it wouldn't hurt... Much Some of our members may even be glad to show you theirs.. OMETs, while being a cohesive group bound by our three rules, are also loyal to our home clans. This is confusing for younger KAW players, but only takes a bit of thought to fully understand. But being an OMET has its rewards. Players who make good Omets are those who have played KAW a sufficient amount of time to learn well the in-game mechanics and acquired a decent amount of strategy. Typically, we look for players who have played KAW for at least a year. The Potential show signs of being a mature and intelligent player of Kaw with a cunning behavior who is fast-learning and strategic. They must be team oriented and know how to be disciplined in following our lead in war. Many times this amounts to showing patience. Can they keep a secret and take an oath of loyalty ? Also be prepared to make your build one that is prepared for OSW wars.

So as you can see here sluard, we have a large group of people with the same name that are numbered already. And there are more of them. You're kind of… obselete.
So.. in fewer words.. to join, you have to act like an omets friend until they decide to invite you to the clan.
Well being recruited is not about being a friend with an OMET. It is about being around an OMET enough that they can see you have 1) experience in KAW, 2) have a level of maturity, 3) show a lot of patience as opposed to impulsiveness, and 4) are interested in delving into a very complicated and very old KAW group that uses more complicated war tactics than "tap tap tap tap" or sheer numbers. At least that's my read on it.
