Ironically I was going to write this thread Sunday. Good work, you saved me the time. The osw, the bank, and the sweeper get all the action. I leave my phone on too when I sleep. I made 3 upgrades in the last war as my stripouts happened at the same time every day (not good intel on their side I guess) Yea, another point to make is if you fail your first strip do the person again every 6 hours until they do sleep. Once you have momentum on them keep pounding until you have them eliminated. The only player who has avoided this strategy is ScarletShadow who did it through udid sharing with Trueplayer. He was in SG and she's (he I guess) somewhere in North America. This strategy will get you banned and also in hilarious situations get you reset by Trueplayer so you loose all the free $$ he sank into your account. Lesson be learned - don't give NAL your udid. Lol. Back to warring discussion... So yea, you can make hit teams too. Distance and I used to park on the same player if we suspected we needed to burn their pots for days. Don't just burn one brand of defense pots on your enemy either- burn both. They'll drop sooner if they didn't stock right, and they have to stock both styles. The days when the rules exploits allowed us to pin our own clan members though assassinations is over. The devs have changed the rule so we can't say pin a player who just dropped rank in clan due to allies being all bought up. This has made mitigation of stripouts harder for some clans. Be sure to activate your palringo so you can be PM'd should your clan notice you're on the defensive. I've seen people leave on clan chat in pal and leave post noises off, but have voice auto on so they can hear 'Joe just got stripped- Joe wake up!' Nice trick for the kind of people who fight this type of way. As usual having good alliances makes it easy. Taking in a few mercs from friendly clans or adding a second clan as your allies give you more options. Distance likes pudding.... I like yogurt. Pudding makes you a fattie. Palringo is an awesome aid when fighting multiple clans. Battle lists can update faster, and stripouts can happen mad fast. Trueplayer must have had 60% of the spies in the game on him for his stripout. He happened to get caught on vacation and get rolled. Anyhow, I could blab this forum up for days. Good points Distance. I hope people apply them.
I like the guide. I'm in a friendly war and my stats suck so i can't do any of this, but it's still a good guide.
Distance, did you add the friendly Hansel? It's a hansel build that you send to a stay and play plunder war, they stay open the entire war so people can hit, self pin, and repot with. i've seen those used before.
Its better to earn your cash on the enemy in an osw than on a friendly but hidden farms are an option for self pinning instead of quests. There are tons of strategies i didnt cover. This is mainly an enticement for pw clans to learn more and dig deeper into the game.
Good guide distance. Pulled the "try again in 6hrs strip" recently; before I read your guide. It works. Lots of good tricks not mentioned for other scenarios. Something I always try to figure out is someone's regen time. After enemy is dtw or pinned (0 spies), scout them every 30 secs til u see that they lose spies. Record the times in cc. Assign a couple active players to each target and alternate regen times to keep both players strong. As long as communication is maintained, a problem player can be controlled. Overly simplified explanation but good enuff.
