If the 15 min start up timer was removed it would increase the inflation of gold in the community even more so that it is now. If you are really serious about avoiding the 15 min start up time consider clan hopping between 2 or 3 clans. Yes it's a lot of work but it's a solution that works if you are serious about getting as much in as possible.

Also the 5 min regen is fine as it is atm. I see no reason for it to be shorten other than people wanting to be greedy and get more.
