  1. The official information is:

At 9:45am Sydney time a man with a green bag entered the Lindt cafe on Martin Place, Sydney. Inside the bag there was a gun unbeknownst to those inside. There are officially 13 hostages and time being it seems the ordeal is still ongoing. the hostages have been split into 2 groups insides which would make it difficult for police to infiltrate the zone. Both the NSW state police and federal police have been called in which surrounding areas evacuated. As the scale of whether there may be another attack in unknown as of now the Opera House and Sydney Harbour bridge have been closed off.

Although around 12:30 AEST there was a scream heard and a man approximately 200m from the zone has been arrested (This is yet to be confirmed whether it is related or not.)

This all I've gotten time being, I just hope those hostages make it out safe and well.

  2. Yeah. They need to keep active on TV for live updates, but while they have no new news makes it a bit hard for them I guess. Kinda pulling out anything they can.

Hostage rang a radio station as the gunman wants to talk to the pm via radio station, also has 4 devices around the city . Has not been confirmed yet if real.

  3. Man arrested was nothing to do with current operation.
Lindt CEO says there are 50 people inside cafe

  4. Why would you wanna talk to Abbott the puppet. The guy is a joke..

In any case wonder what demands he will have?

  5. So a guy traveled half the planet from an arab country to Australia to rob a coffee store

    Seems legit.

  6. The world gets more and more unsafe as days go by.

  7. Damn. My image of Islam has become a WHOLE lot better. /sarcasm

  8. No idea. I guess all we can so is speculate . No one knows for now. It's a mess it's down thing we haven't faced before . Terrorist situations are foreign to us, we've been so lucky in Australia .

Police commissioner is speaking now. He keeps saying stuff like wanting to find the motivation behind the event. Pre G20 isil an other terrorist organisations basically gave an order to go kill any Australians , maybe it's a result from that . Police officer just dodged questions about the hostage contacting the radio station.

  9. Protestors saying that it's a government funded scare tactic against Islam.

These people are ridiculous, this country you have only 2 rights.

    1. The right to association.
    2.the right to a religion
As much as I hate our current government. I do not think they would undertake such things.

  10. I never said that anyone said that it does represent Islam.

  11. Who does he represent? The Easter Bunny? Fact is Islam doesn't seem at all concerned about tracking down its extremists.

  12. Please respect other people religion even if you do not believe in it

It's not about the religion it's about the people

I know plenty about islam to tell you it doesn't tell people to rob coffee shops for no reason

  13. But... Australians are so nice, or was it Canadians?

  14. Are you christian or perhaps jewish you know what i could take your icon of whatever religion you are and go kill a police officer and put it with his body even tho i don't even believe in that religion
    Why would i do it?
Well to make it look bad for a start.

  15. Simmer down everyone , it's just the "religion of peace" expressing itself.hope sharpshooters bring this to a stop quickly

  16. 5 hours now  hope its over soon

  17. Why should I respect something I don't believe in? Will you blow my head off if I don't?
Saying the religion has nothing to do with it is a cop out. I'm Buddhist and you don't see us traveling the world pointing guns at people's heads. Time for Islamist to clean house and start preventing this crap.

  18. We do see you burning building though.

  19. YANGON, Burma -- The United Nations has confirmed that at least 48 Muslims appear to have been killed when Buddhist mobs attacked a village in an isolated corner of western Burma, a massacre that has been the vehemently denied by the government since it was first reported by The Associated Press...

    you were saying?

  20. So this is all some conspiracy staged by anti-Islamists? And I suppose you got proof of that?
