Because I think its great! Basically, it means that if you got drunk one night and accidentally got a bit risqué on WC, that silence will expire after six months leaving you with a clean record. I, like many of you, believe that its a bit harsh to silence a loyal longterm gamer permanently for 3 oopsies over the course of 4 years or however long. So the change to the silence policy will keep those veterans around who may have an aptitude for occasional lurid but somewhat inappropriate language. Any other questions OP?
