If I'm not mistaken... 3 = Spam. Only the person whom was spammed can ask for you to be silenced. And even then, a mod may say just block/delete. Either there is more to your story, or, the guy had you silenced and hasn't told you.
There are rules For a reason. Just because you're older than 9 Doesn't mean everyone else is. Don't wanna get silenced? Follow the rules.
Lets clear this up. Acronyms like wdgaf/wtf/lmfao are not >>generally<< silencable, as they can be interpreted in different ways by different age groups and are not directed at another person/player and so are not being used in malicious ways. As for spam, 3 times in wc, 5x in 5 mins for a clan, or if its a wall, 30 plus posts of a spammy nature. You can block well before it gets to that if youre online.
I think silver got silenced or something and is butthurt. As for silences if in question you can ask a mod or look it up in ToU yourself if you have the time. It's like a book it tells you all this stuff about what is a silence spam and everything else in game to prevent you from getting silenced. Mods do make a mistake sometimes it happens especially in wc of its fast moving. The acronyms as Mango explained are not bypasses as many things can be explaining this and is not directed. If it was spelled out then that is different unless it is a clean acronym. Have a nice day all and you to silver.
But again and again, self censoring is silenceable, but we are issued to give out more warnings now, to educate our players new or old. The spam rule has already been mentioned. If you have a silence issue please email support@athinkingape.com, complaining about a silence is actually against the ToU.
@eagle since you are encouraged to give out more warnings is Kaw going to become like the other ATA games where a warning is given and if continued silenced?
Currently, you are correct but this has been here for years, we warn, they continue we silence. But after a few months with new moderators and our ToU changing we are now to encourage to warn and teach our players about the rules, so people won't get silenced so fast. This will prevent less work for support as well, so it's better to warn/teach, then straight out silence. But if the posts are bad enough or on purpose, we will take action immediately, if we feel that a warning is warrant we will warn.
Tou is not black and white what one mod would consider a scilenable offense another may not. The bigger problem is the fact this game has adults and children playing it
To avoid a long repeated message no quote here. Yes it may not be black and white while taking some thought if unclear or you simply can not understand it just ask. Lots of helpful people in KaW. New silence features and things change as the devs see fit and as needed to better the majority. As far as I know every time a change has occurred the devs have posted about it. Be thankful they do. As this is extra time for them and the ToU can be changed with or without our knowledge.
I posted something about mastrubation one time and that got me perm silenced. I posted a very bad racist joke when I got un silenced (like a very stupid one, or offensive) about black people after I had already said multiple about white people. #silenced. I support that the mods need to stop being so hard about it, and do it to everyone not just the people that can't pay that much.
