And it said: This user is in a war that does not allow allies to be hired.

So, unless they changed it in the last 3 weeks, I call bull crap.

Well, I've been farmed for hiring an ally during we wars so, yes. Also, why do you think people have "don't hire allies, in EE war" banners?

 

Obviously I don't pay attention.

However, I was in the same clan as myself, so maybe that had to do with it?

However, I was unjustified in what I said.

In this, I believe myself to be justified, due to experiences.

However, my personal experiences could be entirely circomstantial (I WAS in same clan as the account I was hiring from) and it could be that people outside of war are able to.

So, I apologize for my limited knowledge. I generally don't go around hiring random allies.

I have very strict rules when hiring, and almost never hire allies anymore, except from my own accounts.

I have accounts that I reset. If I click a link on a wall from before they were reset, they show up with their new name.

UNLESS they didn't start over? They just left it gone?

Allies can be hired during ANY war, ANY TIME , from an account--even with the spells on.
During wars one can take a screenshot of a player's allies and hire them by searching up the allies later(because the spell merely hides the allies from the player profile)

I will hire allies just because you say you are in war. On my wall. On your banner. I also love alts that say i will reset if you hire me. :lol:

... Never had one reset though.
