Sorry to break it to you OP but you aren't the only one with work obligations outside kaw. The difference between you and me isnt that I spend my whole day on kaw, it's that I have no problems walking away in the middle of a war.
People act as if this is the worst idea. You got to look at it realistically . A rough Estamate , about 3-5 people reset everytime an OSW happens. Why do you think KaW fell off the top ITunes perchases ? It isn't because no one is buying them. It's dangerous to stay awake for weeks on end. Causes mental damage that sometime can not be reversed. Not to mention the amount of dads, moms and workers that play. Some military too. You telling me that it's far fetched to let everyone have a form of insurance for when life happens, I don't think so.
Would be nice for people who go on vacation, have an emergency or need a immediate leave of absence. Life does happen and it wouldn't be bad for the people who actually pay for this game.
Don't like this idea at all, players would become unstrippable, play during the day, cast at night. Takes all the fun out of it I think. The thought of it being used in a system war is even worse, if you can't commit to a short system war then don't join. I bet all all the noob leakers would have loved this spell for the ASW, they would have cast this then go to sleep like they already did during ASW.
Once your out of mith your out of mith, so if a player was going to be stripped anyhow this certainly wouldn't stop it
Using this in OSW would be completely unfathomable if it has a high enough price. However, just to be safe that they don't just eb all day, make sure you can't do anything. No hiring allies, no eb, admin powers removed for duration, no hitting other people, all other mith spells removed and it costs an additional 1 billion gold per half hour to a maximum of 2 hours per week. 50 mith. I doubt people will use this other then a desperate situation in an SW.
Is everyone prejudiced? If its a high enough price, and just a little while spread over a week, it can make sure you don't have to back out of a SW or be a huge leak. At 50 mith, or even a hundred, it's a huge investment to pay that much mithril. Desperate situation.
Getting stripped is part of the game. In the immortal words of Smashmouth, or some other 90's band, "I get knocked down, but I get up again."
This wouldn't work. Everyone would just abuse this spell in war, and nobody would be able to hit anybody
I have nothing against being stripped. I'm thinking of other people in SWars especially if you've been fighting hard in a close war for over 22 hours and you have an emergency. Rather not get kicked. But whatever.
