Y not, just give us the option to combine old equipment with new, random Stats transferred or % added onto new equipment , giving everyone unique stat equipment?
This isn't a new idea. In fact, smithing was called for by some in the KaW community a while ago, and the result of that endeavor was the Scrag EBs--the bone equips and scrolls were meant to be a form of smithing. As far as unenchanting equips for aqua and inferno, I don't see how that will help the average player. If a player has weak equips do you think they will have enough extra equipment lying around to use for getting aqua and inferno? The small amount that could be gained from that would be negligible. The devs are addressing the aqua and inferno demand by handing out aqua and inferno in copious amounts during each event (although, the new equips require a significant amount of each to enchant).
Thanks guys for your support and input. On a side note I did think about how blacksmith could also be used to forge equipment together. I'm working on an actual raw idea of how the devs could implement something like that and how it can be useful. Bare in mind that some equipment won't be able to merge with others because of the large stats it already has. I'm thinking maybe they have to be of the same set. But again that's another idea I'm working on.
I was hoping for a reforge to mean breaking down 2 equipment to form into a single better equip. Not like totally added. Like a quarter of one added to another. Put a massive price tag on it and call it good.
I think it'd be better to purchase blacksmithing spell 59 nobility aqua inferno and mith for war equip . then you get partial benefit from equipment from equip being destroyed added to the equip of your choosing. This would be permanent effect to the equipment being upgraded. Example off hand equip to off hand. or weapon to weapon only. no limit how many equip destroyed added to one piece as long its the same category.This would make for some very unique and powerful equips for all the diffrent combinations available
