New EB Perm Items - Can you influence who gets one?

I got the shield in one which I didn't drop any items and which I only unloaded twice.

I'm gonna say random means random here.

I heard that when u beat the EB in half the time alotted or less that's when u get perm items... But I'm not completely sure about that.

the odds seem related to the individual player. the ebs don't seem to "drop" an item or not. it seems more that an individual finds an item or not, at a very low percent chance. 1% maybe?

Totally random - same with the kings tomb. Im smallest in clan, with very few actions and little plunder. Only assassinated eb, and still got a treasure. Totally random.

 

My EB list wont update I downloaded it but the only one that it shows is ambush!?!?

 

you have to beat that one first to unlock the next. same as it ever was.

 

Yeah I didn't think it was true about half the time... That's just what I heard.

 

so many rumors going around, i don't trust anything anyone says. the all think the have "reliable" sources, but so far none of the theories have been proven true.

I have done 15 FoD in a row and my observation about the perm item and the treasue is as follows:

1. 10 FoD dropped perm item - the Blade, 5 Fod didn't drop perm item. In those 10 times, only once we saw two blades dropped in the same EB.
2. 9 FoD dropped treasure - 14 to 16B, 6 FoD didn't drop treasure. In those 9 times, 8 treasures were rewarded to the top earner of the clan. Also we saw two treasures dropped from the same EB once, and two treasures were rewarded to the top earner and the no.2 plunder earner of that EB.
3. It is true that we saw all combinations of perm item and treasure drop. i.e. nothing dropped, only perm item, only treasure, or both. That one time we saw two blades, there was a treasure from the same EB.
4. The Blade drop seems random, it could be a clanmate with a low plunder ranking in the EB. Actually, I have never seen the Blade is rewarded to any of the top 10 plunder earners. Not sure if this is ture in other clans doing FoD.
5. I have got anything yet. lol

Conclusion: If you are after the treasure, it make sense to try to be the top plunder earner. If you are after perm item, keep trying. Maybe just an unload before bed will bring u the surprise when you get up.

I have NOT got anything yet. No blade, no treasure.

 

I hb unloaded just before we completed said epic and received shield, I also just used troops no spies. It would appear that it is 100% random you just have to hit the epic.

 

Matrix pretty well nailed it. Just finished FoD and 1 item/ 2 ppl got. One was middle action hits, 1 was low action. King's treasure dropped to #1-2 in eb gold earned. I rec 15 bil something. Once "sweet spot found, it went quick. Well orginized effort by clan

 

Something I observed in my clan was that in the last three EBs I was on, all of the perm item drops have been given to people who were on at the time
