  1. I support this, for those that don't have mith to use the spell, or for those that are saving up mith for other equip/upgrades. As you stated, they can still be bought if you advertise in WC with the name of the ally, so it's not like it's putting a stop to ally trading.

  2. Ant, that's the thrill of osw, the fact that all your hard work is gambled

  3. No support, I wouldn't waste a land for allies, unless it's magical gotta produce something useful, like the ability to carry more mith or adds a plunder bonus...

  4. goodness m8s

It doesn't matter if YOU want to waste a land slot to hide a few allies or not, it's if it's a good TRADEOFF for people who NEED allies hidden so they don't get stripped senseless.

And no one in their right minds is wasting Mithril 24/7 to hide allies instead of upgrades for equipment.

I support, should be limited to 1 building and 5 allies fully maxed out AND would probably require a castle upgrade so no one complains "OSF get a huge advantage".

And please, read his post carefully, it only hides the allies in his page, it doesn't block anyone from buying them from him, but they would need to search long and hard to find his allies in any case. Lastly, whoever said stripping is a core part of the game please leave at once, it's no longer a war game, it's a "sit in eb's, build a ton of gold in reserves, and hope you don't loose your allies and gold in wars."

  5. What would happen after the one week?

  6. After the one week, you would have to pay a small amount of gold to re-bunker them.

My vision is that each ally has a different timer, so they don't all dump into public view at once.

  7. What would change with each upgrade? Amoumt of allies hidden? Time hidden?

  8. I'll leave the number of ally's hidden in the hands of the devs and testers, but yes length of time hidden increasing with upgrade, along with an increase in the cost of bunkering would make sense.

  9. I've thought about the replies to this and have the following solution:
    Lock this post
I'll make a separate post for a mithryl factory I have an idea for.

  10. Could be done, but seems a little too complex and conviluted for a building.

  11. The mithryl factory idea is getting very little support, so I take back the request to lock this thread.

  12. The idea of buildings is to give you stats not fairy tale abilities which are unless

  13. The concept has merit and potential to ad depth to strategies. Needs more thought.

An idea...perhaps a scout action could have a low % chance of uncovering the contents of the spy underground (and hence allowing a dedicated team to more readily strip). Maybe 5%.

    Yes...needs a truely splendid name ;)

    Thx op.

  14. Thank you @wolfie for getting me thinking about this building and its 'fairytale'ness. Troop hiding has been a part of war since trees were big enough to hide troops. It makes total sense to me to hide your mercenaries (without an 'allies hidden' tag) so they can't be bribed to work against you.

It also makes sense to me to hide your troop buildings and their associated troops, giving a lower overall cs which isn't factored into the scouting calculation and also wouldn't be available to help your owner. So maybe an option to hide troop/spy buildings should be added.

But as I don't want to digress this conversation from just hiding your mercenaries/allies I won't say anything more about that.

  15. Thank you @mdjbags for this suggestion. I like the idea of having a 'scout for hidden troops' function. Especially if it always fails when going up against an opponent who has empty bunkers or no bunkers at all!!!

Thank you for all your support/no support posts, both are equally valuable.

  16. I take back the idea to hide your troops and conceal your cs, I wouldn't imagine a change in the game mechanics would be needed but it would give the players an even more difficult time in assembling for war. We don't need any more 'no matches'.

But I still think the ally hiding building idea is good. Do the devs see this post or should I use the feedback/email channel to submit a final draft?

  17. Uhhh.....no....dont wanna get stripped, dont buy allies and war. Simple.

  18. Please could a mod delete this thread and the associated thread about mithril factories.

I have enough feedback to go to final draft, so will email support@

I'm not happy with my manners in my reply to apple girl, please could my overstatement of stripping being equivalent to corruption be removed if this thread can't be deleted.

The mithril factory idea was terrible on reflection, and if rather it wasn't against my name.

I won't post on forums again. Apologies to everyone I've offended.

If it they can't be deleted, is there a way they can be removed from active posts please?

Finally, if deletion, editing and removal from active posts isn't possible:

    Please lock this thread

Thank you for whatever help you can give

  19. Bunker sounds like something straight out of FC
