sorry op There's a cure, it's just more profitable to treat it an not cure it, example magic Johnson ain't no cure for what he has yet he's alive an living well!
Op is the reason I think Americans are dumb... Always the governments fault, never blaming themselves. Talks about free will but it's actually the public spreading the disease. Talks about gun law and protecting themselves, only protecting themselves from each other as they all have guns. Op just one question. are you a red neck ?
If America was serious about this, they would secure their boarders. Flying in from Liberia or any other Ebola stricken country? Sorry. We aren't letting you in to our country at the moment, have a lovely day
Moose I'm not sure but don't think there is direct flights from Freetown to the USA it's all via Brussels or Casablanca
@ OP It's called martial law, not "marshall" law. martial law n. 1. Temporary rule by military authorities, imposed on a civilian population especially in time of war or when civil authority has broken down. 2. The law imposed on an occupied territory by occupying military forces.
Lol aj sorry, I just got blinded today with the amount of red neck threads that have been popping up lately. Need some threads that are happy and enjoyable :/
Not redneck, but have enough weaponry to hold my own. And, I don't need to be corrected, you know what I'm saying. I will not judge anyone on their opinions, however I only heed a warning.
Ok next question .. If this is some giant conspiracy why start with Ebola in west Africa ? Why not use a more infectious dangerous virus closer to home ? Plague Sars mers West Nile fever ?They are all more likely to cause a widespread epidemic in the USA . Why use a obscure virus on another continent as your evil master plan when a more simple option exists. Next how would this be kept quiet ? As the us government seems to be regularly showing it's dirty secrets in public why would this massive plan not get noticed ???
What warning you gonna jump over the sea with those guns and meet me on my doorstep? I'd like to see you try... And you aren't helping anyone paint a good picture of yourself either. But if you're talking about kaw, unless you have a 'better main' I could spin circles around both your spies and troops. Also you kind do need to be correct when blurting out comments like you did in the op.
Mike one viruses can be destroyed. Two it is very difficult to destroy a virus inside the host cell without killing the host. That's why unfortunately it takes so much research and money to develop cures. The reason there is not a cure yet. Simply put making and marketing a cure has not been a profitable enough venture to date. Now there is global demand the plus side is that hopefully governments will back more research program's to treat many cures and not rely upon a monetary controlled research program. Treatment is more profitable than cures hence why so much research focused on that in the past. Now people are being forced to look into cures and broad spectrum anti-virals (DRACO) being a hopeful contender for the future as well broad spectrum anti-biotics. Technology now allows the race to be faster and closer between man and illness, so hopefully we will see progress within the next 5-10 years. Don't expect side affect free drugs before that. Control of the diseased is the best hope for now.
I'm not aware of any travel bans in Canada. "Ebola virus ruled out in Ottawa patient, while man in Belleville still in isolation Oct 13, 2014 - Health officials confirmed Monday night that test results for a patient in isolation in Ottawa came back negative for the Ebola virus, while a man with Ebola-like symptoms remains in isolation at a hospital in Belleville, Ont., awaiting blood-test results... The patient had recently visited a West African country where Ebola has been reported." http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/eb ... -1.2797055
Moose the WHO has stated that travel bans aren't effective against this sort of outbreak based on events as previous outbreaks. They've stated a travel ban will not help and probably will make thing worse.
Canada needs travel bans too. I don't think Ebola is a serious threat yet, but it could become one, bit hour governments need to take the adequate steps to protect its citizenry. Again, its not time for panic in the streets, and there is no conspiracy afloat to infect to population to sell drugs, or some such neferious thing. I just think thst first world countries need to take some precautions to remain safe
