Ah interesting, the data is interesting in itself, however, I wonder if they have realized they aren't getting new users and are trying to keep existing here by updating it. I played FC for years with no events whatsoever and player count declined rapidly as a result

Yes that is an option but the growth from volley is needed, I think shady's idea of bot allies that either reset when grown too big under the control of the devs was brought up in fc, you would have to talk to ShadyMarine to know exact parameters. I think devs came close to implementing those in fc
2 options, leave or pay, this is false. I've payed no more than 20 bucks, and that money quite literally had no effect towards my growth. I'm only so small for the time I've played because I choose to be. If someone want to grow, the will. Money is not required it's a shortcut. Those who pay SHOULD be on top. That's what they get for spending a few thousand dollars a week. If someone wants to grow, help them get a few buildings to do Ambush and then when they're big enough, haunting or escape. It is slow, and if you can't deal with that then KaW is not for you. Simples.

Hey sweety, kaw has made so much money they can afford to throw some advertisement out there for them. I think you need to go economics 101, I never said it had to be televised ads, they could just put them on fairly popular websites, YouTube, or twitch.
Hmm. OP's standards of thriving in the game are too high. Its very easy to find enjoyment at every CS in the game. Theres ways to grow regardless of pay 2 play or free and cheap. The latter takes harder work, more determination, and operates on free seals/horns that drop from ebs. Whats the problem? Yeah, equipment is hard to come by for low cs, but hopefully more events will net decent stat equips for new accounts and resets.
