I personally think it would be far easier to just put a symbol at the end of a rounded value of the amount you get. The values could be: k - Thousand e.g. 10k = 10,000 m - Million e.g. 10m = 10,000,000 b - Billion e.g. 10b = 10,000,000,000 t - Trillion e.g. 10t = 10,000,000,000,000 You get the basic idea. This would most likely involve some basic rounding factors behind the scenes by the devs but it's honestly not hard to code it in. An example would be 123,456,789 which would be rounded to 123.46m which looks as if you are getting slightly more but in reality you still got the correct amount.
Pretty sure this has already been brought up a few times and ignored by the devs.. It's a convenient idea, but not a necessity.. Still wouldn't mind seeing it come about though, wouldn't hurt anything..
We could do a currency reform like the Communist regimes did in many countries in the 1950s, a wealth redistribution, the more you have of the current currency, the less you get of the new currency (percentage wise) ... it would be grossly unfair (as it was in the 1950s, when it wiped out the savings of the bourgeoisie) but in the context of KAW it could do wonders in terms of reducing the current gap between LB accounts and the masses.... How might this work in KAW? Well, for example, revalue allies. If you have less than one tril value in allies, values stay the same, if you own between 1 and 2 tril your allies lose 10% of their value, if you have between 2 and 3 tril your allies lose 15% of their value, et cetera. It would require a lot of thought to structure this correctly and since this is a silly suggestion and I don't ascribe to implementing Communist ideologies anywhere - not even in a game - I'm not going to invest the effort into fleshing out this proposal. Moreover, of course, this sort of currency reform trick really only works if nobody knows that its coming ... ...
PS to my prior post, here is what this reform could do (analogously) for KAW, quoting from The Great Soviet Encyclopaedia (1979): "In these reforms the greatest losses were suffered by the exploiter and speculative elements that had accumulated large sums of monetary capital. Carrying out the reforms promoted economic improvement and successful implementation of socialist reconstruction of the national economies of all these countries and facilitated a rise in the standard of living of the working people."
How about asking devs if they actually bother... so many players are complaining n giving feedbacks yet they are doing nothing. Only scratching the backs of the high spenders for them... Spend more n u will like this game more. Bcos devs probably gives a little s*** about u then. N u get away with hell lots of things if u are a high spender. U know n i know n everyone knows.
Yes it make sense if they bring platinum or diamonds. At some exchange like 1000 gold = 1 diamond. So one land of 1000 b will look like 1b. Or 250m upgrade will look like 500k
For those suggesting a new currency alongside gold I have to say this won't happen. We already have 2 currencies so why confuse matters with another. The best way forward is to simplify what we have currently. There are several suggestions how to do this on here and I hope these are considered by the devs.
Yeah this game has really taken my appreciation for large numbers away. I look at a million like a thousand these days.
This is what you think about in your free time? "My phone game uses too many big numbers" -moonface emoji No support
What you're basically doing is removing the value of a penny. Make it obsolete in a sense. Everything will stay the same. Just smaller numbers. Even other games do this.
