    I was in my philosophy class when the professor asked how governments are formed and where they get their power from (or something like that). I immediately answered,

    Me: Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords!

    Professor: I love Monty Python!

    Classmate: That's ridiculous! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

    Me: laughs What are you, a fan of anarcho-syndicalist communes? Now that's ridiculous.

    Classmate and I go back and forth for a little

    Professor: Hey! Quiet down back there!

    Me: HELP HELP I'M BEING REPRESSED!
