If a small player is very good at chess, they could grow VERY quickly. And the best chess players would fill the lb, this game isn't about who's best at chess. The fact remains that implementing a board game like chess into a game about war does NOT wirk, it's like adding a Monopoly minigame to Call if Duty...
@ vanquished halfwit. It's a stupid idea. Sorry. It relies on every player already knowing how to play chess. KaW already has an over saturation of different choices, adding more just seems cheezy.
I hope this is a troll thread... How do board games link into the idea of a war game? Please explain that to me. It seems everyone just has free gold and xtals on their mind, not the actual original concept of the game (even if it is corrupt with ebs now).
The game rating would have to be changed, or that section would not be available to minors. It's gambling.

Another idea would be to allow users to place wagers on the outcome of wars, kind of like sports betting.

I see this being horribly abused. If you haven't noticed there's no direct way to transfer money to another account. I'm sure there's a reason for that omission.

Kingdoms are 'fighting' each other, hence the name kingdoms at WAR, I'm sure they wouldn't sit down and have a nice game if chess while frolicking in the recent snow that fell in the peaceful wonderland of kingdoms playing chess.
Kronic. They did play that when they weren't fighting as a game but also as a practice for real war and to practice there strategy. So yes they did sit down and play a peaceful round of chess.
