You are standing near a train track, when you see four men working on the track. You then see a train rumbling Down the track toward them. They are too far away to warn, and they can't hear it. Luckily, you can pull a switch, and divert the train. The catch is, on the track you can divert the train to, there is one man working. What do you do?
Hm, can that singular man hear you scream "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? RUN THE HELL OUT OF THERE, THERE IS A TRAIN ABOUT TO RUN OVER YOU. WHY IS THERE EVEN A TRAIN COMING TO WHERE PEOPLE ARE WORKING? STUPID TRAIN COMPANY."
I would turn the switch, drive the car over to the one guy, put the car on the tracks, then tackle the man to get us out of the way.
hmm. saving four lives could be better than one. however. what if the one man was smart enough to know where the train would be, so he worked on the track the train wasnt supposed to be at? why punish a smart man for four men's stupidity?
It depends. Is the old lady waiting for the moment to hurt you? Is this a trap? Do she genuinely need help? Is this childhood friend still your friend? Can they be trusted? And for the "hot" woman? I'm a girl so i wouldn't pick her up and two could she hurt me? Could it be a trap? If none of them were dangerous the "hot" girl can wait for the bus. I'll take my friend in the car with me and I'll call a taxi for the old lady and give her enough money for the fare.
