Mexico on the brink of civil war

  1. If the Mexican government would cooperate with the U.S. Government about the cartels and settle the rage of the population about the cartels and the corruption (cough, cough so much for keeping your neighbors free eh America?) then I think it would help solve these problems for the better.

Living in one of the most free and corruption free countries in the world I can't say I can relate to the emotions of the Mexican people who want to revolt… but I can say that I totally understand why they want to topple their government.

  2. Yeah but if we actually did anything I'd bet you'd cry about America invading another country.

  3. Oh God, the stupid level in this one is off the charts. "boarder" "your breaking the law" "your running for". Please PLEASE educate yourself. Seriously... Please.

  4. I like to think we avoid fighting a war with the cartels because it would diminish our global power. Russia or China would take over the world stage while we're fighting, because a war with the cartels is essentially going to be a civil war in America.

  5. Well if the civil dar starts, how Long until it leaks to the us. Who will other countrys si de with cartel and corruption. Or the people.

  6. End the war on drugs. Decriminalize and the problem goes away. Trillions spent on a militarized attack on plants. Retarded. Spend the money on health care, agriculture, infrastructure, sanitation and the arts.

  7. I hope not. I've spent several winters on the west coast and Mexicans are nice ppl A cab driver taking us into Manzinao stopped at his house a shack really Lovely wife and kids. Should legalize and kill the criminal aspect

  8. Until Americans stop supporting the high demand for drugs, Mexicans will have to deal with cartels supplying those drugs.

  9. I don't think you can say "Americans" are supporting the high demand. They arent. They are the consumers(a lot of them being minorities) but the suppliers are the ones creating the demand, and the suppliers are only a few Mexicans.

  10. I thought demand was consumer driven? If Americans didn't want to get high so much after spearheading the war on drugs there wouldn't be this massive gold mine sitting there tempting the cartels.

  11. Maybe for normal products. Not for drugs, though. It's up to the dealers to create demand for the suppliers by getting people hooked on the drug. So really it's the suppliers who are creating the demand, because if not for them a lot less people would want those drugs. Most of them will come to a point where they no longer want them, but need them. That's the goldmine.

  12. It's the users choice to start using, not the cartels, not the dealers, they're just there to feed that demand. After the drugs were banned obviously the market went underground to feed the demand of users and the market being there allows more people to use but that's their choice, at least at first.

  13. Whether or not it's their choice is irrelevant. Temptation exists, mistakes are made, curiosity is real. We also know Americans aren't the brightest bunch either, that can contribute. Whatever the method, the drugs will get into the hands of the people as long as there is money to be made. It is literally the dealer's job to sell people drugs, obviously. It's their payroll, so they get good at selling and reaching new audiences.

  14. The media helps fuel this demand by glorifying everything and anything that has to do with drug culture. Even "cautionary tales" that are "supposed" to warn or discourage windup glorifying that culture ...."Breaking Bad" "Cocaine Cowboys" "American Gangster" etc.  (I love all 3 of those shows lol)
