This. The only way we can live after death is to leave a legacy in the wake of our death, and even that legacy's existence is mortal.
This, if it makes you happy, go for it. However, all supernatural phenomenon or any sort of unnatural phenomenon can/will eventually be explained by science. I think education is quite the eye opener when it comes these sort of things, my parents are devout religious people and I managed to break out of that mould and question things constantly and not just believe something because my parents did or because religion demanded so. I looked for answers in science and I still continue to do do. A lot of superstitions and beliefs of the last century have been debunked by science. When it comes to soothsayers/diviners most of them are just conmen that are good at targeted guessing and reading people. Also, the instance where you felt better after the native Indian man told you a "spirit" is going to watch out for you, it's most probably just a placebo effect. When frightened of something inexplicable, humans tend to cling to the nearest explanation available regardless of its veracity.
I always knew the sixth sense was based on a true story This scares me. To think that different up-bringings and scenarios can significantly change a person's personality. Also how can I be someone else when I am me currently?
Lili's story really sent chills through me i could only read half before i began to feel scared . it was really unnerving .
