Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update I do agree, it is an exploit, but not all sh have enough bfa to do that. Also, the may pay crap but if they have gold out they'll lose a lot of it.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Read the majority of it. It sounds way too cool to ever be something the devs implement. Nice write up. Solid.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Having read your proposal, I agree with the majority of it. I do not support these "micro-crystals" if I may call them that. The magic aspect is iffy at best. Being able to use spells to hinder an enemy's performance once every minute could be catastrophic to a war and a team. BFA plays such a huge factor in this game that many don't understand. If we cap it, someone will cry. Remember back to the start of S4 when there weren't any round wars? ... Exactly I do agree with giving more incentive to people who war to bring in a wider range of people. I also would recommend a warring "tutorial" if that's what you'd wanna call it to encourage people new to warring to not be turned off by the intimidation factor alone. Yes there are plenty of threads on the forums that share great detail on the subject, however I'm sure many people are exactly like me. I learn from doing, not from reading. Now all seriousness aside, I do find this a bit humorous that you, BR0KENSW0RD, want to implement new changes to the exploit builds, When you were one of the first people to run a full SH roster. (Yes I've warred with you before lol) Nevertheless, the effort that you put forth in this thread is enlightening and maybe the devs may begin to brainstorm ideas on how to change EVERYTHING as a whole instead of the "Primal Wars- Because we don't know how the hell to fix the problem" -Rid
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Good job but a bit too over powered. PvP would just be magic hits and people regening with it and abusing. Maybe you can only use 1 every war?
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Primal Wars r CS vs CS n room for that format and is an improvement on Round Wars. Some would like some tweaks to even up some discrepancies. Its that or keep as is n bring out a new format to replace Rounds Wars that offsets Primal Wars Hansel laden rosters nuances. IWars r what they r best that others take up that challenge if changes r seen to be needed.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Indeed I was the first to run an all SH roster but it doesn't mean I agree with the build. I play the build because it is the only small build that can be competative due to things like bfa being uncapped, etc. Also I ran with other sh in a similar situation and rarely used any ssh with huge bfa. As suggested a war tutorial would be excellent. Perhaps that will be my next thread lol.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Many of these changes would also allow people to use various builds since the playing field could be more level with capped bfa, spells, and adorns to assist those with unconventional builds.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Even indy wars need to be revamped. I cannot recall a time where it was an even roster. One team ALWAYS has the tanks and the other has all hansels. It's an absolute joke atm. It really is a coin toss as to which team you will land on. Why not just have us cast and reward us with mithril for a win or a loss and save crystals?
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update The War Emblem section of the OP sort of addresses this issue as you could earn up to 114 mith even on the losing team.
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update And I fully support that aspect. Also had a little nostalgia going on with the black ops 2 emblems lol
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update Great thread, a lot of thought and effort That being said, I think a lot of these ideas are solid . A few are far fetched and the 1% chance is very low , for the time it would take to cast. Could cause ko and you may never see a successful action in pin. I love the BFA cap, it would seemingly destroy the GH / BFA / bfe combo completely . I have not done an ee war since season 1. That being said, I would love to see some spice up and maybe make ee war " Do able" for the working class
Re: Massive EE War/PvP Update All of the 1% things are "adornments" that you would put on your equipment to gain passive "proc chances". You would have to do nothing after adding them to your equipment, they would simply have a chance to trigger when performing whatever action is detailed in the specific adorn. Also the reason I kept most of the numbers low is to not have a detrimentally large impact on the game, to keep room for new better adorn/effects to be released in the future without going overboard, because certain adorns can be added to multiple slots thus increasing the trigger chance, and because these adorns/effects would be going off from multiple people in war. I'm sure most people with outrageous bfa would be against the bfa cap/diminishing returns but if these players would look towards the future of the game, they would understand the importance of stats not getting so enormously high. In most popular MMOs out there, there are similar stat caps and diminishing returns to prevent players from becoming too overpowered. This game should follow suit or see a lack of new players joining once they learn they have little chance to compete. Diminishing returns still allows players to build bfa when they are near the upper spectrum of the game, it just removes the ability to basically cheat the system at the lower spectrum. ATA always claims this game is about growing your kingdom. Uncapped BFA at low CS is a deterrent to their alleged goals.
