Lizard Squad shutting down Xbox live

  1. Depends on how many people Microsoft/FBI hired to trace them.

  2. Are we going to refer to hackers as "lizards" from now on?

  3. That, in turn, depends on their budget. Are they willing to lose more money?

  4. So this would explain why when trying to go to my pins and start Netflix it would freeze my Xbox. So figured I'd delete and reinstall, that also didn't work. Now I know why

  5. PSN was shut down by Anon Hacktivists a while back
No one cares about that now

If Microsoft really thinks they found the location of "Lizard Squad" they need to guess again, any simple hacker knows to hide behind Proxy's VPNs and TOR Browsers

If they actually did find "Lizard Squad" then these so called "hackers" need to learn how to set up defences.....

Take it from someone who can hack if they want
(Not saying I will, only if provoked or showing off to my noob teachers, and making them swear is confusion)

    Just sayin

    Oh and
    @XBL Team
    Your WiFi is Bad,
    So you should feel Bad.

  6. Thank you. Someone who agrees about their wifi.

  7. Ikr.....
Xbox went down every week before I got console banned....

    Wait.....

Bolt_Reclip kept hitting me offline for calling him a fat 8 year old 

    So it was probably me....

    But either way,
    Their WiFi is bad
    So they should feel bad

  8. They took down a major gaming site earlier

  9. A whole website? No way!

  10. ahah. ahahahaha. lol.

  11. As does playstation and they got shut down for a good 5 months lol

  12. 5 months?
    When back in 2011?
I'm pretty sure it was only a month.

  14. Not necessarily though it does depend on the skill of the attacker. I work as an e-commerce investigator can easily trace back sloppy suspects as they use the same computer or IP for legitimate use of the service. Some of the harder ones may require talking to the isp (comcast, time warner, etc) who will generally help for larger loss investigations (remember the share your data clause in the Terms of Service, yeah it's legal).

While that has sometimes helped, the smart ones use fake accounts with false data. No help there and have to require good ole' fashioned investigation.

Then taking one step deeper goes to the location of the hacker. I identified a group of suspects(Facebook is wonderful for this btw) but they are based in Cyprus. There is no way on God's green earth a private company is going to make the fbi talk to interpol talk to Cyprus needed for prosecution. Due to the current political climate in Cyprus, current authorities wouldn't even look at it. Morale of the story, move to Cyprus and scam people. Lol

Also fyi, there has been arrests around the group anonymous with some as recently as yesterday.

  15. He's probably fat/lonely/bored/angry at his mom for not making him the meatloaf for dinner and terrible at gaming so he needs to feel noticed somewhere. 

  16. What he said they're not hacking- stop giving them that kind of credit.  please know the difference between hacking and DDoS! Lizard squad doesn't have the skill to actually hack.

  17. The person who said they shut down PSN for a a few weeks is wrong- it wasn't lizard squad who did that.  it was an actual hacker group- they hacked the information/banking numbers of users etc. lizard squad shut down PSN network for an entire day with a DDoS attack. Xbox was only down temporarily, they're hoping that they'll gain support for Xmas and more hands to help I'm sure. They don't be able to do more than stop you from watching Netflix a few hours with their current ability. 

  18. Not very hard, SQL Injection, then she'll injection, insert a deface page and name it index.html

Or a DDoS attack on their servers, causing flooding and not allowing any data through

  19. Lmao cyber specialists? Which is why Skype resolvers were "patched" but yet still work?
And why trackings IPs through XBL still work after about 7 patched to try and fix it,
and why RGH consoles can get online still,
    I had a Elite Falcon RGH-2
Took them for ever to figure out how to perm ban me....

Their "cyber specialists" don't know anything about today's tech.....
I think they need to hire us hackers to find their glitches and figure out how to patch them, they will have a much higher success rate....

  20. In my opinion they aren't hackers and I think nothing is gonna happen on Xmas but we will see I could be wrong
