You can make as many threads of what you want or others do. The only thing that matters is the dollar vote. I'm sure the devs are seeing increased profits when running certain things and will continue to do so as long as the money is flowing. If you want to change things, go find all the spenders and persuade them to your cause.
Sadly that is not gonna happen though, as I said earlier as long as the devs get money why should they care
