Level 4 Guild Change

Discussion in 'Ideas + Feature Requests' started by admin, Nov 22, 2013.

  1. So devs... How much of a change in plunder? Can you give us an estimate?

  2. And can be pinned by attack builds I mean it is war right?

  3. Those GH clans are gonna take a hit

  4. And if you want this game to last, you need to cater to your players.

  5. @ Spil I respect you bro but this is saying Dwarfs or midgets can't war cause they will chop your ankles. GH pay crappy i understand then change the payout a bit better... This change by devs is not to help with "EE wars"... It's a lucrative way to use people's excuses to fill their pocket. And we are fighting amongst ourselves to not notice that. DIVIDE AND RULE. Devs r doing it to us. ASK FOR A REl solution not a temporary fix... Hell this is not even a fix

  6. What if I was a gh then I reset for certain reasons not for farming to stop and made an attack build didn't like it so converted back to a gh

  7. If it is simply because of Estocs, why ruin the fun for those who don't war? I don't see the logic behind it, at all.

  8. Ask for a real solution*

  9. Out of curiosity, was this final decision made cause they were too OP for their build cost in EE or they earned too much from EBs for their build cost?

Or maybe just both in general.

  10. Quite proud of myself right now. I didnt break down and go GH I kept growing properly and NEVER had an issue finding a war clan. Got my 50 rancor!

  11. Appeasing to the whiners and make the others suffer for "the common benifactor of kaw"
I will probably never stop playing but this will just go my list of reasons to stop buying xstals and other useless crap in this game I waste my money on.

  12. OOHHHHH,

I predict great rage and many asterisks in the next posts. This should be interesting.

    'Grabs largest popcorn container around'

  13. Will end payout in ebs be decreased for gh builds?

  14. For you that say KaW is all bloopity bleepity asterisks, it was your fault from the start. Don't get mad at your own mistake. I'm sure if KaW lost like, let's say 500 people to this change they wouldn't care at all. I sure as hell don't. And I'm not quitting until I'm the last player left. I have loyalty and faith in this game. 

  15. They are. Just not you.

  16. I could care less about getting compensation for my conversion back to a gh after resetting but back to my question earlier are gh builds going to be useless after this change for wars totally and for just everyday clan use like ebs and stuff?

  17. I make 60-70b a day on HtE with no crystals or seals. Buy one seal and hit HtE for 3 days. Easily doable since your GH makes more gold. It will always take time to upgrade vas, that's not a reason to complain. I did what you are about to do, start with guilds and upgrade slowly but surely.

  18. Great question. I didn't want to answer this because you guys tend to jump down my throat about EVERYTHING. But I think it deserves an answer.

GHs were an exciting and interesting strategy. There were two imbalances from our perspective. They could hit higher up than they should have been able to and they earned more plunder than they should based on the rest of the build balance in the game.

As equipment gets stronger the GH became a more and more attractive build for players: cheap, easy earnings, win war equip! GREAT!

But the problem is that it means a lot of players are not progressing in the game because GH is too attractive.

We would rather adjust the balance of GH and do things like 3x Haunts to create new ways to earn gold so players are encouraged to continue to grow and build new buildings.

It wasn't the wars themselves, or even the plunder. We want people to progress further in the game and we feel the GH build has become one barrier to this growth.

It was a tough decision, we like seeing players come up with interesting strategies and to play the game differently than intended, but this particular issue, we felt needed to be addressed.
