This . But anyone who says "let's cut ourselves" can't not be rude. That's uncalled for and even if it was a joke there are people who are seriously offended by it.

One of my pals, were fishing together and after about 15 minutes of silence he says, "is our town on the map?"

 

I do this crap all the time. At even the worst, saddest situations, for better or worse I'll say some smart arse thing, and people will either hate me or start laughing like hell.

And random too. I've been called an idiot. I can't see why.

 

A good example is this one time when we were going down the road, and my sister had just broke up with her BF over the phone in the car, at seventeen, so you know, end of the world. And she's sitting there all teary eyed and looking upon the world with a hateful eye, when I said, "Hey, on the bright side, I don't have to stalk the kid while he sleeps to make sure he doesn't talk in his sleep about anybody but you anymore."
She glared at me for a minute, and then just started laughing. Never seen somebody laugh and cry at once.

It's called Gallows humor. It's not always funny to some, but hell gallows humor is my thing, and you all love me, right?

On another note, the cut ourselves thing is offensive to some. I'm not offended by it, I just don't find it that funny, but I'm a highly desensitized person compared to some. Take that for what it's worth.

 

Less serious people? People like your cousin are the cause for the world becoming so devided. I have a great sense of humor, just not when it comes to bashing people who can't control an illness.

 

I agree with this. I don't find the "lets cut ourselves" funny, and I'm not offended by it but many are and it's a serious topic. If I were you I'd recommend deleting that part of the op so people don't get mad at you.

 

Cutting yourself isn't a mental disease whatsoever. Cutting is really ******* stupid. I've done it before and I know tons of people who have. It's generally the privegled kids with tiny little problems that are too lazy to solve them. The people with real problems get off their ass and fix them. Give me any ******* reason why you would logically cut yourself. I'm glad his cousin is making fun of people who do it. Smh
