This is not the end of the story, isn't it? And thus another event will follow this one.

 

So what is going to happen for the three days after this part ends and prior to the banner part ending? Something special being cooked up?

 

Well this is a 14 day event however there were 17 days left on the banner event so perhaps a mini event will be after part 4 to conclude it all? I do agree the story left a lot open and is by no means the end and is in my opinion a way of introducing a powerful force to create new lands or something along those lines.
