I think Mickey said it best 

Whine whine whine. Want to win at EE....join a clan that's full or work hard to fill your clan. Too expensive? Only if you're buying 14 mith and lose. It's not hard to tell if the matchup is bad. Don't cast mith if you don't think you can win. If you can't stand to lose anything...don't war! Hit your ebs non-stop. I don't see how anyone is spending 20b on a 4 hour war. I call bs on that. Only thing I feel needs changed is in the matchups. Clan size rather than strength has much more bearing on outcome. Matchups shouldn't pair clans with a difference of more than 4-5 players. The opt in spell helped a bunch. No longer do you have to worry about a ton of inactives dragging your clan down. EE isn't perfected yet, but it's enjoyable. Keep up the good work devs....we'll get there.

     Well said mickey
Val just what I'd like to see. The estocs edge restricts lineups and friends ( subs and alliances ) warring together. Bug clans failed because everyone was restricted to their warring clans at first so very few could run a big team especially with veiled members.
Now we have Same scenario just different spell. If we can't move with ee where is the edge. We need to be able to move to and from a large war clan to be able to war at maximum capacity this eliminating a lot of problems when alliances war together.
Bad tactics? nope better tactics as no one will have numbers edge.
Want to complain? no one can complain about numbers if we can always combine strengths.
Just means everyone has to form alliances if they haven't already which would be a surprise for most that war. Less but decently matched wars is better than lots of small harder to match wars.
Gold war bars would increase rewards from banking in war and may encourage participation. But rewards are too low to offset the risk of wars for many. But losers keeping their mith. Nah sorry you lose, you lose simple as. Don't want to lose? Don't war.
No limits on clan sizes devs. Now how is that going to work? You have a clan warring with 100 members but still has 150 in clan because of those not warring so you end up with a clan that can run a. Tgl in a fraction of the time no exploits possible there then? Or do they have to kick people with edge out after war ends?
Either way increase mith rewards and make it worth our time and roll out the 2 hour skirmish wars which will be less of a drain on real life time

@picudo. U can't see someone spending 20b, yet the 4 stat mith spells cost roughly 16b for me. 8b minimum for a tiny player. And The match up algorithm constantly mismatches clans. That's not even adding in pots. Nor is it adding in time spent.
It's pretty expensive to war in a failing system. Wouldn't have a complaint if the system actually worked correctly. Once everything is worked out, all kinks are straightened, and everything is running smoothly then I can see the expense being worth it. But for us to spend 20b in mith/pots to help the devs basically continue the "beta" testing on this system is immoral on their part. It should have been perfected before release. Not released to us to test at our own expense.

Although I do agree that when match ups are good and all goes well they are fun wars. Minus the horrible lag of it all. The only real complaint I have is that we are spending our gold/time/real$ on xtals to find out each week that the system hasn't been fixed. But we have a shiny new name color mith. Or new equip. Or new forum mods. Or new silencing rules.

The only thing devs have actually done to improve the new war system is to change the opt out to an opt in and to change mechs to nerf tower builds. None of the other new additions have helped fix all their fail in the least bit.

    Which leads me to this....

Devs are about to start a Estocs tournament. Knowing full well that their system is flawed. And that inevitably many people will dump real life money and time into the tournament to have their system mismatch wars. In my opinion from a business standpoint this is immoral. It's like a car manufacturer selling u a car knowing full well the gas tank may explode randomly at any time. Unethical and immoral. Think maybe devs should wait until they have this worked out before implementing the tournament. Of course they won't tho. Because they want ur moniezzz and could care less if they are selling u an inferior product or not.

    End rant/

Why did you change the app image and the images showing the game people won't join of they think it is a kids game so change it back Please and thank you

  7. Re: Kingdoms at War - 03/04/2013 Update

And two fixes that would up the participation, which in turn would up the amount of clans to be matched against, are to obviously up reward and to remove loss of Edge when leaving clans. Loss of edge is horrible idea that is ruining clan loyalty rather than making it stronger. Was a good idea on paper devs. But in actuality it is failing.

  8. Re: Kingdoms at War - 03/04/2013 Update

    Picudo-

I always use 2 xstals a war, that's over 100 actions right there using full pots.
Plus another 4 hours of unloads and DP.

  9. Re: Kingdoms at War - 03/04/2013 Update

Thanks for all of the feedback so far. There are a few general themes occurring that we would like to address:

    1) Based on the feedback on the war roster sizes, we will make the following adjustments:

    War #1, #2 - Minimum: 20 Maximum: 60
    War #3,#4,#5 - Minimum: 25 Maximum: None

    2) Increased payments - We will be looking into increasing payments when season 1 commences. However.. waiting isn't fun, so we will also increase payouts for this week as well!

    3) Losing an edge when leaving a clan is not fun - We are looking into decreasing the pain of this when Season 1 starts. We will make an announcement soon regarding this.

  10. Re: Kingdoms at War - 03/04/2013 Update

Most clans war 3, 4 or 5, so putting size caps on war 1 and 2 doesn't fix the problem. Large clan sizes didn't work. They caused huge mismatches. The last couple weeks (even with clan sizes capped) there were still some major mismatched wars. Your 'matching algorithm' doesn't work. And now your response is to abandon caps!!!!! It seems likely that you are just making things worse.

  11. I very much like the idea of one free move to a different clan without losing an estoc edge lvl

This way your home clan can still war with the max amount of people and you can preserve your ee lvl and war with your clan when your schedule allows

  12. Good . That shuts my arguments up. Hopefully the losing edge gets nerfed soonwould open the gates for EVERYONE who wants to war. Earning mith and edge wouldn't be based on whether or not ur admins chose to war or not that day. U could hop over to an allied clan and have ur war

  13. Payouts increased! :D

  14. All that happens is people have to hop to another clan, atleast when item hunting when finished you move back, with this it encourages you to stay out of your clan.

  15. The losing side should get their mithril invested back and a small reward as long as they do not forfeit, just so that people actually war and clans don't give up after having a bad few wars. This will also aid the winning side as they will not get less mithril when the other side forfeits. It benefits both sides equally and would encourage more clans to war.

  16. That's actually a pretty fair idea EofT.

There still needs to be risk... But don't scare people away from EE because of the risk.

  17. Probably the first time I wont agree with Mickey. But losing clans should get zilch. That's it. If you want a fix, make mith cheaper since you already have the 14 miths a day limit in place. Warring even in system wars should always have an element of risk. You don't like risks, then there's an abundant amount of EB equip you could acquire. You could also pot up an increase your bfa.

Well, even if I disagree with Mick, I gotta say this, @Picudo, don't mith up when you think you're gonna lose? Lol what a loser, way to show team spirit champ! Or was that your way of saying "don't cast mith when Unbeknown doesnt outnumber the opponent by 20" coz... That's the only way you win.

  18. Lol @ devs finally caving in to losing a level of edge/clan loyalty and crappy payout issues :-D

These issues were brought up months ago, we shouted what was wrong but damn you guys are stubborn.

You release all these shiny new equips with large stats like a horse with a carrot fixed infront of its eyes lol

People put growth before mith, like or not.

  19. Support!

  20. An update i'm actually happy to read. Thanks devs! Woohoo no war cap!!!
