Kingdoms at War - 01/02/13 Update

  1.  You have reason 1, 2, 3 and beyond (but what else ya got?) really?? The rebuttal is to simply disregard a list of cons on the build? Suddenly tower builds are the ones crying...i'd say it's the other way around? Hate to break it to ya but the mechs are instituted by THE DEVS. If there was a legit exploit the Devs would have corrected it much sooner. we've been warring for a while now. Again, i will refresh your memory. You can 1) assassinate and..... 2) attack on a single spy regen which you can time 3) blitz a tower's attack troops when the whistle blows. But here's the hard truth: you're too mentally lazy to figure out how to approach the build in war. If you want a game that involves no thinking whatsoever i've already recommended Mario Party. Oh wait you guys actually prefer sitting in the penalty box for most of the war. Isn't that intentional "turtling" to some degree? i know it plays a crucial role in one EE strategy. I love how the worst of ya cry about fairness yet i was the one calling to attention the greatest gap in play in allowing a LB to monopolize the EE. Personally i dont care because im not dumb enough to signup for a guarunteed loss. Thought you guys would prioritize and put forth legit complaints. This isn't eb world guys. Why not limit the effectiness of scouts then? Any country bumpkin can roll over on a phone and scout a LB to pin as one SOS can be harmful. Maybe you could start there instead? I've pointed to several potential strategies against my build as well EE war tweak ideas. I've heard little from the other side of the aisle besides blah blah blah 

  2. Hmph. I see lots of bs from both sides on this thread.

I'm predicting a nerf of the dtw mech in EE only, as it would be easier to implement IMO, and outside of EE the mech is irrelevant.

    Back to lurking...

  3. Agreed to IMF comment**

  4. IMF
You are wrong about exploits. Pwars were a mechanics exploit, and the devs did not correct or for months, so, assuming that, because it exists its a good thing, is flawed logic.

    The questions should be
    1. Was the tower mechanics intended? (I doh t they were, but I'm guessing)
    2. Is the tower build good for this game? (I don't think it is, but up are free to disagree)
    3. Although build diversity is good, does this build have too much power. (I think it does, but again, others may differ in opinion)

  5. Faceless, it's not about me you dunce. Look at my clan and do your homework. If that's too hard, check out our EE track record. I'm not crying over lost mithril.

It's bigger than that. Needing 2 LCBC hansel for every tower build is not a strategy. It's a rearguard action that will be rendered useless once tower builds reach critical mass.

Stop talking and turn your brain on for a second. If tower builds become mainstream, it's game over. If we end up with a lineup where half or more of a clan is tower, EE will not work. How can it? You can't hit each other, remember?

This exploit is only tenable while the minority have it. When every idiot, err, I mean strategist jumps on the bandwagon, you don't have a game anymore. Think about it.

  6. I am waiting to see how this plays out, but I have money banked, and if there is no patch, I'm converting to a tower build and I'll exploit the hell out of EE.

  7. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I'm sure I'm not the only player who is thinking this

  8. IMF hate to break it to you bud but devs didn't intend a lot of things to be in KaW. That's why they nerf things when they come up.

The thing is, devs don't beta test updates or builds. They implement them and rely on us as a KaWmunity for the most part to find these exploits and send them feedback when we do. An exploit was found. It was reported. Devs obviously plan to change it(according to op). If it was intended then why did they not say in op that it was intended, and for us to drop the subject??? Because the KaWmunity found another exploit and the devs also see it as such.

I have no problem with the build's mechanics outside EE. But when u boil it down the build has an exploit of dtw in a war system where dtw should only mean troops pinned. If a spy build could only be attacked, but once it pinned it's troops, you couldnt get a sct, stl, or assn on it, would that not be an exploit. Because that's what's happening with the tower build. Except in reverse.

Yes yes spies can still assn it. I would agree with the mechanic if it didn't happen with tower builds. But the towers make it nearly impervious to spies unless at full bar as impenetrable to attacks.

I'm tired of seeing you guys rage because you wanna keep being sore asses because ur dtw will soon be removed in one way or another. It's an exploit of the system. HAHAHAHAHA spent all that gold to exploit it and now gonna have it ripped from you. Hahahaha sucks to be all u that changed to a tower build to use the exploit that's getting nerfed. Yay devs. Take more gold out of the system

  9. Oh boy, my favorite subject. 

Tower builds are clearly an exploit, as they show up dtw to attack whilst they have troops.

"Pure spies can't be attacked either!" No...but they also have no troops to attack.

"Hansels can't be attacked!" Wrong again.

"Anyone can have the build." True, and anyone could've gotten 100k wins as a tower farm...that's also gone, as are the wins.

Furthermore, I'm pretty sure most who have this build have it specifically for this mechanic exploit, not because it's a magnificent build for any other reason.

"They can be KO by assassination!" You're kidding, right? You have troops, I have troops. Your troops can hit mine, but I have to spy yours....think about your logic.

"You just don't want to lose." Actually, I've won and lost more wars than most in this game, system, osw, etc. I think that a mechanic exploit shouldn't be part of why I win or lose.

99% of the people who have tower builds are the ones defending them. Some of you I greatly admire, others my opinion is more tepid. This isn't a personal vendetta against anyone, it's about maintaining balance in the game.

  10. Satan:
IMHO, people are lobbying for the tower build because its a laughably easy exploit. Who wouldn't want that??

  11. And forgive the bypass I guess filter didnt catch it

  12. Dum dum brain working very well clan I was in ran into this we got out butts kick it showed us we weren't ready for a smart war such as this it was a new build we faced. Yes we freaked out we thought about emailing devs about it but we are well seasoned kaw players we calmed our heads and talked about it and have our own personal strategy to over come it. So next time this happens their the ones who's gonna crap their pants and not us. Maybe should try and use your brain for once. Dee de deee

  13. The haxor build arrived after the patch was done to eliminate the tower OSF.

It's a glitch IMO. Much like any programming feat...it needs to be addressed. Otherwise KAWs new war system will be a snooze-fest.

  14. It is hypocritical to accuse folks of not being able to adapt to this Tower Build in its current state when you yourselves are hesitant to adapt to a Kingdoms at War without it. Hiding behind flawed design does not a Warrior make. Let your Troops and Spies fight your Battles, don't shield your Kingdoms with a pop-up window. The Developers should patch this exploit, the sooner the better.

  15. Oh ****, Game has spoken

  16. So in real life the guy with the bigger gun is a cheater? So America is cheating when they beat the crap out of Iraq cus try have the bigger gun??

  17. This isn't a discussion about guns or Iraq. This is a discussion about a very flawed build in this game.

  18. Face: more like, we should fix a loop-hole that creates an invisible Force-Field to prevent attacks to start with

  19. No this is a thread complaining about ppl being smart. My apologies
