  1. I agree about the ff,s. If a clan ff,s the winning clan should be fairly awarded. They would have won,and should get mith that would equal 4 hour war or atlease a 3 hour one. Thank u
     
  2. when do you plan on rolling two hour versions of war? Four hours have been great. But many want to do two hour wars.
     
  3. Stop complaining about tower builds. Like other builds they have their weakness
     
  4. Save the tower builds!! 
    They've been punished enough already. Gotta have one mechanic they can hang their hat on. And HELLO NOOBS...it's called assassinate them with hansel or pure spy. Ever heard of TEAMWORK!! Absolutely no need to change a thing 
     
  5. I see nothing wrong with tower builds. Once assassinated to pin they can easily be timed and held down, lol. What's the problema?! As soon as their spies regen even once they can be attacked. Time to move on to more important issues.

  8. Ref tower build when people stay its not fair that's like saying to much att. Or to much spy
    Builds so people have to balance out the way they want to fight so if dev adjust tower they should adjust Att. Builds or spy builds then
     
  9. It should NOT fall to the devs to change game mechanics so noobs can win wars 
    It's called STRATEGY , tower builds CAN be KO . Next they'll complain they can't attack a pure spy. Its simple, learn to play the game.
    As far as forfeit- any clan that beats down another so bad to forfeit ( the ultimate surrender) should earn MORE mith not punished because they were better. THIS IS A WAR GAME. STOP THE MADNESS 
     
  10. I find I must add my voice to the chorus of ppl yelling not to change the tower build, because I think it's so important. I completely agree - don't get rid of it. Different build options, along with their pros and cons make the game great!

    I think the feedback prior to my comment is clear, but feel it's that important.

    I do think the ff payout needs to change. This isn't a pwar. (Although I would advocate clans osw for apology any clan that ff's on them).

  13. You can all keep the tower build, just nix the DTW mechanic.


    You'll all still have SUPER AWESOME spy defense. 


    It's all about strategy, right? Shouldn't be a problem for all you pros out there....
     
  14. @ IMF and all others with tower build. It's not the spy def that people complain about. It's the fact that the build can zero it's spies and not be hit when it does. For osw that's fine. I don't mind that. In fact it only makes it easier to pot burn a target

    On the other hand, in an EE war, the build can't be attacked. I know I know. Use spies to assn the build. That truly isn't a viable option being as spies are now weaker and easier to pin with scouts. Which means they are all the first targets. Tower build immediately zeroes spies on all hansels. Impossible to stop even a 1 SOS tower build from winning EVERY sct on a 3.5/3.5m spy. The spy def stats of a spy that big are roughly 200m strength from full. The attack pots nullify that completely because a tower build can use pots while scouting a hansel and we can't use pots to defend it. So every one is a win. So hansels are the first build pinned. Trust me I've been pinned within 10 seconds of every EE and been sat on the entire war.

    All we are saying is remove the dtw aspect. U keep the spy tower stats. No problem.

    All I see is the argument that "we sacrificed plunder". Oh well. So do I as a hansel. I'm not complaining. Neither should you.

    Or "everyone can build one so how is it not fair". Well everyone can cheat too. Does that make it fair? Not at all.


    And my favorite argument is "learn to use strategy"I laugh because this is exactly what these builds are trying to avoid. How about instead of exploiting a glitch that allows you, the only UNATTACKABLE build in this game, learn some strategy besides hiding behind a GLITCH THAT ENABLES YOU TO BE UNATTACKABLE.

    Ok ok I'm done. Finish with all ur butthurt because devs are nerfing it because they want a FAIR playing field for their customers.
     
  15. Sure we discussed loss of plunder. How about loss of spy attack? How about loss of attack used to construct towers? Why not attack towers at the beginning of war instead of rolling over. Dont complain you get sat on early as a spy because you are allowed 2 xstals. The bottom line is that every build can be dtw is some way under different scenarios (you dont hear me crying about those mechanics in am osw). Each build has it's own advantages and disadvantages. If some members of your clan have tower builds in a war against me that's great - it's now our job to craft a war strategy to counter. So strategy becomes a question of how many of each build a clan should have. Maybe they go all spy builds and go for KO plunder instead. That's the beauty of having choices. One other thing, we're talking about war for mith. At some point everyone will have their equipment. So at the end of the day other builds have a better growth trajectory. It's not a glitch fixing build...and if i truly turtled, then i wouldnt earn plunder in war. Again, maybe the opponents should try attacking more often to determine when spies regenerate on a tower eh?! I have to be active or else im open to all actions against me. Time that and you can start to whittle down on attack troopers of a tower build. And we all know those troops can be assassinated. In my opinion, this discussion is over. I made my point and i have no problem going against the build I currently utilize.
     
  16. Agree with everything BHSatan said. It is the only build that is DTW for attacks with troops in EE (except pure spies ofcourse). That's just exploiting the game mechanics. Whole point of EE is NOT to be dtw for spies and troops.

    Hansels and pure still can assn/stolen with 0 troops. Why should be the reverse be true for a attack build (with towers)?
     
  17. About the match up issue. I understand it is difficult. One suggestion, since there are four wars a week; try to have clan war different oppos in each war. This should be able to reduce the unfairness and should be easy to do. Thanks
     
  18. The point is it actually IS FAIR. No one is stopping you from assassinating a tower. I REPEAT...no is stopping you from assassinating a tower. That kills both atk and spy troops (knock knock anyone home???). Is someone preventing you from using this build...no! Who wrote the book that says there can be no dtw situations? Why are you not also concerned then with dtw with pure spies not being able to be attacked in certain situations of the game? I can't wait till you are strip farmed by a pack of T5 spies and cry to the devs on that one because your Kaw career just ended. The spies took everything i saved in allies from me baaaah 
     
  19. All you dunces saying that you're 'strategists' for stumbling over the tower build and using it in EE. Get real guys. It's NOT a strategy!!! It's an exploit.

    IF the devs decide to plug the exploit, it won't be because 'butt hurt' noobs were whining about it. It will be because the EE CANNOT sustain that level of inequality medium to long term.

    If they ignore this, every twit will upgrade to tower build and then you can all stare at each other while you contemplate your navels. You're certainly not going to be doing much KOing.

    The devs need to weigh up the pros and cons of having this build proliferate in KaW. Pros for the devs are an easing in KaW inflation due to slightly smaller earn. Cons are the death of EE and possibly the death of OSW as we know it. Reduction in real income for the devs.
     
  20. Tower builds need to go, IMHO. The new war system is great, but as the tower buold grows in popularity, it will destroy the warm system. I can see all the EE clans each having 10 or more tower builds, which will lead to a new type of turtling.

    You need a large Bfa to make a towe build run well. But if you haven't large Bfa, why be rewarded with immunity to KO to boot?

    Because tower builds are currently allowed, they are not cheats, BUT, like pwars, they are exploitive. If the tower build stays, I will be left with only 2 options.
    1. Convert to a tower build
    2. Stop waring

    Please. Kill the tower build
