Re the extra crystal or stripping of crystals there is one big flaw to this plan as well as a tactical exploit you could use The primary flaw is you are assuming every member of every clan goes into war with a minimum of two xtals. And the a third or fourth in reserve. So devs would Number one have to give free xtals not likely. And number two every clan would have to demand that members prove they use xtals every war and are willing to use th a cross every clan. That would exclude some players ( kids without ability to buy for example) for these wars as clans would close ranks around those that do buy and use xtals to war. I've already said about faster or ko and sko limited regens purely to eliminate that as these wars should be open to everyone. But I also feel the responsibility for clan members participating in wars in part needs to be addressed by clans. And also devs need to allow us freedom to move to war clans so friends and alliance can war together to have full war clans with no slots wasted by veiled members. A much simpler fix
Yup. It's totally same thing when Zaft beats down a bunch of towerbuilds as when 2 equal strength clans face eachother. It must be all about strategy only. I don't believe half the lb being in zaft had anything to do with it. Nope. The arguments for towerbuild just keep getting worse in this thread.
Or just use statless alts to scout bomb their bigs with fails doesn't change clan rank multiple Numbers and they pay rubbish bit still do large damage even with failed actions. Like I said. Clans can fix their numbers issue. Doesn't need a few new ideas like giving poss the biggest players tower spy what ever 4 xtals to use at the right time massively swing scores artificially. Grow your war teams simples.
One way to counter tower builds, as discussed above, is to use tons of statless baby KOers which most probably does not contribute to clan ranking, and hence match ups, at all. One good example of a clan that makes good use of tower builds and baby KOers is -DeVaSt4TioN- They have the following to help them SS_1_AAH SS_2_AAH SS_3_AAH SS_4_AAH SS_5_AAH IlI__Th3_F4Il3N__IlI TY_Support * I guess we don't even need to start discussion on whether these mini alts are legitimate. Most probably someone owning multiple of these accounts. * Interestingly, in the last 2 wars of the clan -DeVaSt4TioN-, the number of players match ups is as follows: -DeVaSt4TioN- (42) vs Legions at War (35) -DeVaSt4TioN- (40) vs Se7en S1ns (33) In both situations, there are 7 extra players of which 5 are statless. These statless definitely played a role because in the first war, they did a total of 6 KOs. In the second war, they did a total of 8 KOs. In fact, I believe it is possible to have a match up of 80 vs 35 of which 45 are statless alts in the clan of 80. The match up system needs to be tweaked to factor in number of players as a consideration to discourage the use of baby KOers, unless it is meant to be part of the war strategy.
@ Apple. True, a clan can use a ton of near zerostat alts to fail on a towerbuild and ko them that way before they have a chance to bank. But that really shouldnt be something a clan should have to do, instead the exploit should be done away with. Atleast in EE wars. Same goes for baby ko:ers.
@ Apple ty and Exactly. Not that I particularly approve of it but its a tactic out there. And used effectively by some. No doubt after the tower argument is dealt with alts will be the next argument. I think a lot of the arguments clans can solve but over considerable time without the faster regens. Ee needs to be a roller coaster skirmish war just to make it a laugh. And either devs need to scrap ff in 4 hour wars or give extra rewards to winners when rival clans ff or just make them two hour wars with higher mith so we aren't wasting our time for someone to waste clans efforts with the ff button There doesn't need to be huge changes to fix different drama. Just a few small tweaks and we should be there. And lag yes for some and on some devices especially but in practice we have hit multiple actions through on the same player when they are one hit away from dtw. Sometimes not everytime but some and a lot of the time perceived lag is just awesome co-ordination and time keeping from your enemy. A lot of very good player out there as everyone is finding out. And a lot of the wars are getting closely contested. Not all but some.
Whether the gold is banked is not consequential. KO steals the plunder recorded in the system, and not the amount of gold out in the open.
Lol apple i know that. I ment that towerbuilds are dtw otherwise so the amount of time you have to hit them is limited and several things have to be in line for even a bunch of baby koers to be able to fail away their attack troops.
Not sure if it has been mentioned before but I think uneven match ups causes much frustration and forces people stop playing EE war. Not sure if dev matches by relative strength during sign up. For eg rank 1 vs rank 2 clan in sign up roster, assuming number of signed up in each clan is abt the same. However relative strength is never a good gauge. The absolute strength of clan ranked 1 might overpower that of clan ranked 2. Perhaps clan rank can be reassess using lb rank. For example, lb rank 1 player be given 1 point and lb rank 10 players be given 10 points. Total strength of clan is then determined by summing up the total points each player has. If clan ranked 1 in sign up has 1000 points and clan ranked 2 in sign up has 5000 points and the difference is too great, dev could consider 2 options: 1. Drop clan ranked 1 in the war line up cos it's power is overwhelming. There is no way anyone could defeat it. Extremes can be omitted to prevent 'unfair' match up. 2. Give clan ranked 2 a chance to forfeit the war knowing that its an 'unfair' match up. For option 2, each clan has only say 1 or 2 forfeits per week. They have to use it wisely. @ Apple Was in that last war and lost. Have no problem with loosing its not like my life will end. But the tower bild is a exploit and the baby KO is a exploit of game mec. The baby KO is a way to protect the towers by scout bomb the big hensels. To be honest i accept that this Will be sorted buy the devs. If devs say that towerbilds and baby KO is okey i Will start using it My self. As said tower debate is for devs to sort. I'm not going to involve myself in that dispute. But to those complaining on matchups. Seriously what do you expect devs to do? No two clans are the same. It's a fact of the game. Fact two. Half the clans that enter war lose. It's a game with a winner and loser. Matchups are a gamble for everyone. Good tactics of course help and numbers aren't the b all and end all. Some get butchered out numbered. Others fair very well with good tactics and less members. Ask around merge clans and improve your clans odds. But if any one ever expects a totally fair match up the truth is it will never happen. It cannot happen due to the the very nature of the game. Different kingdoms in different clans. Just enjoy the wars and keep trying. Learn and have a laugh which is all wars are about. Fun win or lose. Lets try and keep it that way and respect everyone who gives up hours to play each war.
I think matchup algorithm of devs do take numbers in consideration. Otherwise you would never see clan rank 8/112 vs 12/112 kind of a scenario. On babyKO accounts: How much spies do they really take away from big hansles? Anywez, if they are legitimate accounts, it doesn't make a sense to restrict them.
Match ups are pretty good, IMHO, and that's all you can hope for is "pretty good" because no two clans are alike. The key to winning is having excellent trackers and a 100% active clan roster
Moose what do you think about when a failed attempt can also get a ko. I think that should Count as a self ko. I mean you didn't win it you lost so why should it count as a victory ko for yourself
Death: I've gotten a few if those. Lol. I kind of think of it like a suicide attack. Everyone gets KOed. The fact the attacker gets the credit doesn't really bother me all thst much It's actually a nice little bonus to KO someone and be at zero your self
