  1. Hitters get hi plunder in Pvp. Hansel get loads of eb drops. Spies do gr8 for eb and in osw.

    Maybe towers who sacrificed plunder in eb and Pvp, shd be given some edge in wars.

    But once again it's about balancing the builds ESP in wars. Many players hav taken time and gold to convert to twrs. Although these players are usually lbs and t5bc and can afford the conversion, still it's still progress and cash involved.

    I still opines tat dev shd not "kill" twr blds but adjust it enough to still make the build attractive enough to war with
     
  2. I make 11b best hit on a haunt. Towers DO NOT prevent me from being KO , it just slows them down . Where is my advantage????
    Hansels and attack builds make huge plunder. Every build has its advantages and disadvantages. When ppl know how much plunder you lose by converting to tower they are not going to be flocking to it. As a hybrid I made bank on EBS, but was was so quickly KO if was pointless trying to war. The only way the game can survive is by having different builds, each with pros and cons , it then becomes personal choice on what you are willing to sacrifice . By taking out the ONLY advantage of slowing down KO, you render the tower build useless and no reason to have one. So everyone goes to hansels ,then great game 
     
  3. Great match up Devs last war, 67 vs 67, they were stronger but they still lost.
    I think Mith payout should be doubled permanently. At least until you get the bugs worked out. Winning a 4 hour war and getting a net return of 37 Mith after investing 14 Mith, Billions in pots, and 2 xtals, is not worth the reward. We are still Beta testing for you, at least be a bit more generous to those who help improve your game.
    A simple solution for the near future is return the winning teams xtals as well as their mith plus a winner appropriate reward.
    Every time we go into war, we risk getting a bad matchup because you don't have enough teams participating in your (Beta) war program. We also do not have a way out of a slaughter (16 accounts more than we do) once you have made the match. We take the beating and go 4 hours because that is who we are, but that certainly is not a fun game.
    So please give some thoughts on double mith, return xtals to winner, and an accept/decline option for owners when your matchup is not close to even or balanced.

    P.S. this war system is fun when you have a good balanced matchup and a hard fought war!!!

  5. Yes, and no one complains that 1 hansel can take down an attack build by assassinating both troops and spies. What can the attack build do? Nothing. Because the hansel is dtw to attack and the attack build has so few spies he can't damage the hansel. The only build capable of standing ground against a hansel is a tower build. Yes, they CAN take it down but it's more challenging. Hence, crying unfair to the devs. Take away the tower builds only defense and what do you have? An exploit by hansels? Narrowing the field of play to be dominated by spy builds. Might as well change the name to SPIES AT WAR.
     
  6. A quick FYI before the meat of my post. Devs did not change dtw mechanics for EE wars. They changed the level where you see dtw ie changed it from 20% troops to 0% level. All of the mechanics remain the same as before.

    Anyways that aside, I assume by the pre announcement that devs will be nerfing tower mechanics in EE wars - if only to silence the bleating from the cheap seats. To what degree now is only the question.

    I would advocate something simple like making towers open to other towers even though that may not be enough for some of the die hard haters.

    If this is the case (that towers hit towers) given the massive loss of plunder, I really doubt we would see a massive proliferation of tower builds if there is a change to the current mechanics. The doom and gloom people saying EE wars will devolve into clans of tower builds vs tower builds are probably the same people who didn't think we would make it past December 21, 2012.

    Consider my case. I have known about tower build since just after asw. There has been no need change to it other than to fight regularly in war. Before changing I was t4bc. On first hit in haunting I made 37M. Plus I made a very good end bonus from assa. Now I am t5l2 complete with 20 sdt. I spent 2T to upgrade to this point. With gold EE I make 37M first hit and now my end bonus is crap because I only have 1 spy building.

    Do you see whole clans of people wanting to change to tower build with no gain to plunder even at max EE? No - I don't either.

    In any event I would like to see a couple of changes to EE wars when they do nerf towers.

    1 suspend ally sales during war. Dtw at 20% allows a person a little breathing space in case an ally or as is more often the case a large swath of allies gets bought whilst at war. With dtw at 0% no such protection is available.

    2. And i know this is a huge stretch and extremely unlikely but I need to ask.... I don't think there are that many true t4bc and higher tower builds out there. At most I would peg that number at 300-500. If you are going to change the main reason why people switched to this build mid way, I would ask that as a one time offer that you refund all building costs for all buildings and that the people affected can use all this money for new buildings only. Ie can't buy allies pots etc.
     
  7. Also I second what hat said. Mith payout is terrible. I dunno if willy has been in any war since his clan's demolition at taka's hands. His clan hasn't but maybe he moves around.

    I finally got my ring to max level. It cost me 611 mith. At current rates that is about 700B cost. I have no idea why devs decided that mith is now worth north of 1B now but they should rejigger the conversion rates - especially considering it is no longer really for sale.

    Also put another way: if I net 30 mith for a single war that means I have to win 20 consecutive wars in order to max out my ring. I know cumulatively the new gloves cost 260 mith. That is 9 wins in a row to get 1 max equip I also assume that is one of the cheaper equip too. How much for bow slot? 2000 mith? So about 70 wars? It's a little much.
     
  8. Lol Valor, are you just making things up now? This thread is about Estoc Wars not about OSW. And there is no such thing as a hansel that is dtw for assa at any atktrooplevel in estoc wars. Again, the only build that has been allowed to keep it's off system war advantage in estocs is this specific kind of towerbuild that is dtw to atks. Nobody is saying dont build towers. Have 48 of them if you like. We are only saying open up Towerbuilds for ATTACK in Estocs.
     
  9. Hansel is only dtw for attacks when it has zero troops, what is it that you want to attack at that point? Do you need an osf? You are dancing around the fact that devs stripped away pretty much every OSW advantage that a hansel has in Estoc. A big atkbuild can sit there in estocs and feed off a hansel until the hansels troops are at zero.
     
  10. @ama-gi. Hansel is dtw to attk build if no gold out. No mechanics have changed. Only thing changed is that dtw occurs at 0% instead of 20%.
     
  11. Killing the tower will kill the diversity within the game. Attack builds can be put down by Spy builds, the only nemesis the Spy build has is the tower build. Lose it- everyone goes spy within 2weeks

  15. Something is going on. Joe has persuaded me. You can say I'm a lacky for the devs if you wish, but its not the case. However, I don't expect you to beleive me, so I won't try to convince you.

    More to the point, read Jose thread and you'll see where I changed my mind (which is a Mooses perogative)
     
  16. LAG BLOWS. Been kawing over three years, bought hundreds of dollars of crystals, and used to love to war, but NOT ANYMORE. Fix the lag! Worthless trying.. Nice try with Estoc, but your execution is pathetic. I am done with Estoc.

  20. KO'S should last 30 minutes so the ko'd person has time to regen more before getting hit! This will make it harder to constantly ko someone throughout the whole war so it is more fair :) please fix thank u 
