He's absolutely right on page 3. I did my resets long before Pwar Era, Long before t4, back when Kool-aid was a mod. I liked having the satisfaction knowing I wasted a month doing my resets to have an exclusive advantage over the next guy. ALLY SLOTS. I'm in communication with the developers ATM, and hopefully I can come to some sort of..understanding.
Notice how redstar has 20 allies... And do does Ithaca and just about everybody on ally LB *Newsflash* it only shows you first 20 allies.
Some people just won't ever be happy with any updates! Those who have done resets still have a significant advantage over those who haven't, I have not reset and kick myself over it every few weeks. For all you that reset you still got your reset item and you still got your extra ally slots and no matter what you will always have more ally slots than me and any other who has failed to do resets so enjoy! If you don't have your ally slots filled and are complaining about it just stop cause it's not going to drastically affect you in any way.
@Eric Your advantages are the reset items. Lets hypothesize for a moment. Player A: Never reset, 250 ally slots plus purchases 100 more slots. Total 350 slots. Player B: 4 Resets, 250 ally slots plus 200 reset slots plus option of 100 more purchasable slots. Total 550 slots. Resetters are not at a disadvantage. Even assuming you didn't purchase anymore slots you will still have an advantage in slots available. So I don't see how you guys are still complaining. Especially since none of you have 450 slots overflowing with quality bfa allies. I've seen players complain and they have no more than 5 allies. I mean seriously........
@Auroran Its just common sense. What truly would be unfair is if the developers offered the reset items to be purchasable. It's always a possibility because they are running a business. But I don't think they would alienate long time players in that fashion.
Speaking only for myself, my complaint with this update is the Developers' false assumption that it is no longer "feasible" to reset. To reset in this game is to sacrifice everything of merit on your Kingdom sans Permanent Items. This includes your accumulated actions count, which directly drives the Battles Leaderboard and the Overall Leaderboard. Think of it this way, resetting now is on par with making a baby; very easy to do, the challenge is in raising the child. A member of the Moderator Team posted elsewhere on these Forums that they chose not to reset in the past because it was too difficult, that it required effort. Many established Kingdoms here decided too that the sacrifice was not worthwhile to reset despite the boons of Permanent Items and extra ally slots. So they never lost all their buildings, their gold, their allies, their accumulated actions count, etc. Everyone who did reset lost everything. Now if resetting really wasn't "feasible" now how did our pal Red-Star just manage to do all of his resets on a second account, and volley transfer all his gold to it from his primary account, and still retain the top spot on the Overall Leaderboard? Answer is because it is feasible, it just takes the guts and the will to do it. It's a shame that these Developers have to pander to lazy players who want rewards without putting in the effort, this soft game getting softer still I guess... In the end it's ATA's show, this is just one customer's opinion for what it's worth. Cheers!
You can't even get on or move up the LB without buying and selling accounts and then stripping them out... At least not in a short period of time. Cheaper and faster than nobs, too... Adding ally slots doesn't do anything one way or the other about that stone fact. No one does or doesn't reset on the premise that they are giving up actions for LB rank anyway... Are you kidding me?
