As we see often there are many request for pvp rewards. The battle list would be a good feature to help curb the abuse of players farming alts or friends. Devs response to the community was (not word for word of course) " the system in use cannot distinguish battle list hits from an action on other kingdoms or ebs". Basically there's no way to determine that you are hitting players you found on the battle list.
daTomoT was raised in a different phase of the game as was I. Removing ebs, while a brief respite from boredom, isn't the answer nor is a return to plunder wars. Clan osfs required sacrifice. Perhaps not of resources but more importantly of time. Time spent growing the osf to a certain size and then being online to be "open for hits" Additionally, they had to be on tiered growth stages so the larger members could grow as well as the smaller. The chaos that invariably ensued when a "non-clan" acct hit an open osf was a flashpoint for PvP actions against that member or clan. One option, in my humble opinion, is to have a "grievance" war implemented. The ideal of it is to, for example, have a clan declare war on another clan, if the other clan declines the war, then the "declared" clan would get a base percentage of extra gold or drops per hit on the other clan who declined the war(along our presently set algorithms). BUT as a penalty, if declined, that other clan wouldn't be able to start an eb for a predetermined length. During the war, any pots dropped would net 0 gold to the dropper and hence nothing to the hitter. Additionally, any gold that the defending clan had out would need to be spent either in potions or allies or it would be forfeit. Meaning deleted when the war was declined. The only way to have open gold would be to drop allies at a higher loss ratio than the current drop rate. Thus limiting some tweaks in this idea. Secondly, what if an eb could hit back? Say for instance, a haunting was started in a clan and only some were hitting. At a random variable the Apherion character "lashed" out at its aggressors. The hitters would take some decent damage to their attk and spy bars and the "barely active and waiting for pot stage" actives would take a higher percentage taken away from both plunder from pots and hitting power. Wouldn't that promote activity and teamwork in a clan to finish an eb as quickly as possible? Would also promote xstal sales too I think. The perk of completing a "hard" eb would pay out at a higher percentage than normal. Anyways, these are just words from a rambling, decently imbibed player that used to enjoy the PvP aspect and the camaraderie that usually followed a hard eb completion and threats of reprisal that always came with clan actions against another clan so, please forgive any errors in spelling or syntax. Cheers!
Hmmm... I'm not sure. I haven't seen too much in the two years I've been around. I'm fairly happy with the game.
I'd force kaw to actually listen to their own terms of service and ban all players that buy and sell accounts. And I mean all. Even the ones that keep this game going round and round.
As Galan said - different eras. I accept that removing epic battles isn't the answer. I expect we'd lose a chunk of the player-base really. It's just unfortunate that this was the chosen fix to Plunder Wars. Galan, I think your idea of a 'grievance war', or 'grievance tax' on rejected war is a good idea. I'm mulling things over in my head for original ideas - and I've got a few coming on, but they need refining and fleshing out.
Make war easy in android platform just like ios as we have to scroll on and on to get targets very bad experience in playing war in android. i would want it to change
I forget who, but someone made a thread saying devs should implement a item that costs as much as a seal and functions the same as an imperial plea. Now the length of said items effects and the logistics have to be figured out, but this seems like a good idea
