**** THIS ******** UPDATE IT'S ****
Why ask for feedback when you clearly don't care about it. Even Microsoft isn't this greedy. Back to pwars for everyone till we finally get jack of playing all together and we can watch the slow implosion of the game. Enjoy the cash while it last and let mr know how much u want for that corner desk when it all falls apart.
Games of the MMORPG design often have problems with their in-game economies -- particularly, with inflation. KaW is unique because it is possible for the players to measure the amount of inflation through the ally market. There are 4 items that players can spend gold on: land, buildings, potions, and allies. There is a hard limit to land and buldings (LCBC) and after a sufficient amount of potions, players will not but more (particularly because they aren't using them in real wars anymore). The ally market is where the "excess" gold sinks into. After the T4 buildings were released, movement in the ally market dramatically decreased because people were using the majority of their gold to purchase buildings. As more players began to BC, the ally market picked up. During the "down time" of the ally market, the stats at a given price point started to rise dramatically. [The statrice ratio increased--> deflation] I studied the price point $1,886,745,801 most closely and I would routinely find allies with a 90K to 100K attack stat. Currently, I am lucky to find one that breaks 80K and often settle for one at 70K. [The statrice ratio has been decreasing --> inflation] Releasing the T4 building or releasing the Highlands is one way of addressing the inflation problem. It provides an outlet for players to drain trillions of gold. If you want to have real wars instead of plunder wars, the rival clan feature will allow you to find an appropriate clan to challenge. Challenge enough clans and eventually one will accept -- there are clearly people on the forums that are sick of 24x7 PW. The game is already balanced so that players are most highly rewarded for attacking players with similar stats (excluding attacking a hansel or OSF of course). Of course, everyone wants to be the big kid on the block with the best stats and the strongest allies. BUT, if everyone is LCBC, then everyone is in the same stat range already! It is not a requirement that the entire clan be LCBC in order for a real war to be fun -- you just need to have people that are similar stats. As many people have noted, the release of the Highlands puts LCBC significantly out of reach. If people are waiting to LCBC before engaging in war, then they'll need to wait a year or spend $1,000 on nobility points. The alternative, of course, is to engage in real wars without becoming LCBC first. The developers have already given us gold mines --> OSFs. If they really hated OSFs, then they would have adjusted the battle logic to display dtw if a person has zero attack. That would still leave Hansel builds, but those can't feed an entire clan the way an OSF can. Perhaps this update will convince players that having a real war prior to becoming LCBC is actually an option. In the mean time, players now have ample opportunity to sink their gold into land and buildings (and potions, if real wars commence). Once you're LCBC, the only thing left in the game is sinking money into the ally market.

Aqua-d. If it's now going to take me a year to lcbc, why on earth would I all of a sudden feel I have more time than ever for real war? Quite the contrary, I have less time for real war than ever! With roughly a year till endgame, why would I want to waste even more of my time in real wars that only prolongue lcbc? Sorry pal, it's now plunder war forever for anyone who sticks with this game more than a week.
Sorry for the repeats. Cannot edit post from iPhone. 1: 3b 2: 3.5b 3: 4b 4: 4.5b 5: 5b 6: 7b 7: 9b 8: 11b 9: 15b 10: 20b 11: 25b 12: 30b 13: 40b 14: 70b 15: 80b? 16: 90b 17: ? 18: ? 19: ? 20: ? 21: ? 22: ? 23: ? 24: ? 25: 300b?
