I personally don't do this, but I am apathetic when it comes to this practice. 1. It's not a ToU violation, so you're fine. 2. Even though you are taking advantage of a 10 year old, hopefully they will learn not to trust strangers online. (losing a clan is cheaper than losing all your real money to a "wealthy nigerian prince") 3. In war, spy craft and deception are common. So deceiving players and destroying their clans is simply another, more brutally effective means of warfare. 4. I'm lazy, but I'm sure a 4th point exists.
I have 2 opinions 1. I think owners sometimes need a slap in the face and need to stop trusting so easily and 2. I hate it whenever you make a clan and after months you finally give them admin and they destroy your clan
Why would you post this thread on forums I've tried this 3 times and all 3 owners have said no I saw the forums it's all a hack
It's a TOU violation if you somehow are determined arbitrarily to have chosen a name just a hair too close to the owners name while you are kicking members and changing CA... Which is total BS. But there you have it.
Reselient: The devs reserve the right to change names at their discretion. If you make the name Belimorte, and capitalize the "i", then expect a change. If you make a name that is close to another player with the intent of causing chaos or damaging his/ her reputation, you may ALSO expect a change.
No, you can expect a ban... But, it's ok for a player to make 4 different iterations of their own name, park them all over KaW and hit you with the blatant intention of turning around and lying to a host clan about their situation to start an osw... It's a violation of the TOU to mislead, but I guess we're left guessing as to the sheer whim of ATA as to when the "malicious intent" line gets crossed, aren't we?
