Chapter 3 - Friends and Rumours Jay walked towards the school slowly. He was still thinking about Cassandra's ****** from the day before. How she had let him fell it. It's soft texture and shape. Jay reached the school to be faced with Bryan Crose and his gang. "So, Jay Lietner! Rumour is you're in love with Cassandra Malter and she let you touch her ******." Jay stared at Bryan. How had he found out? Well he was about to find out. "Really Bryan?! And who told you that?" Jay retorted. "Why should I tell you?" "Because..." Jay was left speechless. Bryan laughed vigorously. "Can't think of something to say?" "There is nothing to say, the rumours are false," answered Jay. Bryan rolled his eyes, "Well I'll find out." "And good luck with that," thought Jay as he stumbled past Bryan's gang. Nobody else at school seemed to have heard the rumour, so everything seemed alright to Jay. He ran quickly to his homeroom and bumped straight into Sarah Falsec. "Watch it stupid!" Sarah yelled at him. "You could have broken my glasses!" "S-Sorry," Jay stammered. Sarah turned her head away. "I certainly wouldn't let someone like you touch my ******," she mumbled as she walked away. Jay stared after her, who in the world was spreading these rumours? While he hurried to his homeroom, he met Tomas on the way. "Hey Jay! I didn't expect you would boast about how you touched Cassandra's ******." Jay stared at Tomas, "You think I'm the one who spread these rumours?" "Wait, you weren't?" "Nope." "That explains a lot." They walked to their homeroom together. They didn't run into anybody and got through three periods of school until anything actually happened. It was in the science lab, Cassandra walked up the Jay. "Did you tell anybody that I let you touch my ******?" she whispered to him. "No!" "Well somehow people know, so we have to find out who really did spread these rumours." "Ok." Cassandra walked away from Jay quickly before anybody suspected anything. In geography, Toby Panwick walked up to Jay and said, "You're really lucky! You got to touch a ******!" Jay sighed and answered, "I didn't!" "Then you're just the same as me! No girls ever want me to touch their ******!" Toby squealed over-excitedly. "I can see why." In maths, while Jay was walking up to his desk, Harris Seroll tripped him over and whispered into his ear, "Dork! Cassandra Malter is mine! I don't care what rumours you've been spreading around the school about how you touched her ******! I won't believe them! I will be the first boy ever to touch Cassandra's ******!" "No you don't understand!" Jay squealed back. "I understand perfectly. You want Cassandra and think you can get her by spreading false rumours about how you touched her ******." While Jay walked home that day, he reflected on what happened, and made a decision. Cassandra was right, they needed to find who spread the rumour. Sorry I said how we would find out what happened to Frank, but it'll have to be next time
