Item Drop Theory

  1. If it is not random explain solo destroyer...

  2. @Terror They thought that was a theory but it really isn't. It's random like elite said. It was probably a coincidence. Why do you want to figure this out? It'll ruin the fun of waiting to see if you get the armor and when you don't you keep trying.

  3. I've use no crystal and got the sword and the shied.. And I'm going to get the third item the same way

  4. @elite

that's interesting. I suppose you're right if that player indeed did solo Destroyer. So I suppose the best advice you could give to someone trying for the items is get all the luck you can and have patience.

  5. Death
I'm jelly if you got treasure and item

  6. Uh. I just joined a clan when they were at 15% on the destroyer, unloaded and got armor. Lolol

  7. Oh and btw.. I use no items in the item stage.. NONE.. Just assassinating

  8. @Melissa

.... .-.' want to give that armor to me?

  9. Lol.. Hope it works out the same way when I the the item from the destroyers 

  10. the more reading about these people getting drops one thing seems to be more common then not, they don't use items. I wonder if using items lowers the chance of getting the drop or not. That'd be something to be easily tested.

Or if using items at all gets you the drop e.g. a player that hasn't even hit HL doesn't attack but uses items and get the drop.

  11. we were doing a fod last weekend that somebody came in in the last 10% and hit 44 times total and got sword... don't think there is much theory to it...

  12. As I recall, the original official post regarding drop probability is that it is random, but not entirely.

As such you should ask yourself, 'self, if my paycheck depended on enticing players to spend $$ on kaw, how would I entice them with purely random items and not alienate players?'

My theory is that while every action contains a measure of probability, some players may have a slightly higher probability of gain.

Who are these players? Pro pack players. If you look at the people with items, a large portion are the pros. This is difficult to confirm as high level pros are very active players, and subsequently have more successful actions.
    That's my theory anyway.

  13. someone has also suggested that. In theory it infact, does make sense. Just like ATA hiring more female mods. Perhaps you're right. There would be no way to test this, unfortunately.

  14. Lol yea.. It's only yours cuz even players with no pro packs can get them.. Look

I bet if there was no pro pack ppl will still get them

  15. @death, he's not saying that people STRICTLY with pro packs get them but saying that ATA subliminally made it where people with pro packs percentage goes up to obtain the drop.

  16. Not really. In DFA we had 8 people with no pro packs get sword drop. (in a row)

  17. did any of them bought any Nobs or crystals? That may also raise the percentage.

  18. No they did not use nobility or xtals. (I remember) We even started to ask allied clans because we though you got a higher chance if you did not have a pro pack.
But all those theories are put to sleep now and it is truly a random drop.

    Remember that day ice?
