issues with game mechanics

  6. Actually you are open to steal once troops are above 20%. you could pin a clanmate to under 20% and they will be dtw to repin for 10min and dtw for steals until next regen. That means if you're lucky you pinned right after a regen and they will be dtw to steal for 5 of the 10 minutes. If you're unlucky and they regen seconds after you hit/ass them to pin then they will be up for steals the entire time until you can pin them again
     
  7. Yeah - so pinning someone stripped will go like this.

    1. Ass to DTW

    2. Person will be DTW to steal until the first regen.

    3. After first regen, person will be DTW to ass, but open to steals.

    4. Next regen is same as #3 - open for steals for 5 min, but DTW to ass.

    5. After 3rd regen, person will be open to stl and ass.

    Rinse and repeat.

  9. @ABSO i think that only applies if it was an attack build instead of an SH that tried to steal the hansel with <20% troops.

    Well just a guess i might be wrong 
     
  10. And the only situation to my knowledge that you can be stolen from with troops under 20% and spies pinned is IF YOU DIDNT pin your spies personally. If the thief pinned them then it's possible that he did it within seconds of your regen. Dtw from someone else pinning you isn't determined by a set amount of minutes on the first pin. It's determined by regen. Each subsequent dtw can be timed to 5 min, but the first one is dependent upon when they regen.

    The second they regen after being pinned, they open back up. If he pinned you 1 second before you regen then he wouldn't even have noticed your dtw that would have happen and been missed;)️
     
  11. It's a 10 minute period a person has to be in pin if they aren't doing anything. 2 regens at most. A third one can happen when you go to repin depending on the timing. Pin mechanics are about the time and not the regens
     
  12. I have noticed same thing as Great.. When stripping I take note when I actually kill a spy and they regen from zero so that once their clanmates start pinning, I know when they open up again upon first regen.

    I actually recently saw someone pinned right before their regen and were open for another 10 minutes before re-pinned.

    I do think they stay dtw to steals longer if self pinned.. But I could be wrong with that..

    15 minutes and 10 minutes are not true.. This mech changed in February 2013.. Before that it was a strict 10 and 5 and regen didn't have anything to do with it

  16. skinny the reason i made this topic, is because that guide stated i should be DTW to steals so i was confused, besides this incident yes i agree it is an excellent guide. :mrgreen:

    That guide works, like you said, only when the person self-pins.

    There are nuance differences for outside pinning and open times during strips that are not covered in the guide.

  20. Cheese, It doesn't matter if it is self pin or outside pinning. The numbers should work the same no matter what
