We may go to war, but we are not getting "rekt". I've said this before, love him or hate him, Trump knows how to be successful. All the other candidates suck. Except Hillary. Bill had to go elsewhere for that. Ithankyou.
Who says carson is rising and trump dropping off?....the media that wants trump out of the race. Trump will get the nonination and win by double digit % pts
When I talk about Trump in talking about Republicans only. I don't support Trump, but his competitors just scare me. Also To be clear, I support Bernie Sanders. He's one hell of a smart guy, and his policies are a lot smarter than the current system in my opinion. Single-tier health care Universal post-secondary tuition Higher minimum wage Higher corporate taxes Racial equality Millions of families lifted out of poverty Larger middle class An understanding of climate change More government transparency Less free-trade deals that create trade deficits This is a wide range of topics and it takes quite some time to research both sides of all of these issues. I recommend you listen to his "trickle down" video. It's 40 minutes long but it's a pretty good explanation of why trickle-down is a failed system.
And you are ok with paying up to 90% taxes? Bernie has lots of ideas about how to spend money, but not many about making it. In the condition we are in hard cuts need to be made, and that will never happen under bernie sanders.
Sander is dropping in the polls hard. Sanders support it is time to mutiny, go support HELLERY!! Lol.
Lol are you seriously quoting Chris Christie with that 90% thing? That's ridiculous - he's one of those scary guys I was talking about. He's lying with that 90% figure, in case you didn't know. The polices that Bernie Sanders is proposing have already been implemented in the majority of similar countries - and have been proven to be successful. Another thing that you've proposed: Austerity measures. Terrible idea. An economy can't function when the basic needs of its citizens aren't met. America is already one of the most bare-bones economies in the world when it comes to social programs - 50% of its tax money goes towards wars and bombing campaigns. Basic Keynesian economics would state that when the economy is bad, you invest into the economy. Then, when the economy is good, you can reap the benefits of a high tax revenue. You can try to slash and cut your way out of the deficit - but it's going to be on the backs of the sick, the poor, the elderly, the unfortunate, the marginalized, and the young. America's social programs are its foundation.
Nathan will be telling you how great Hillary Clinton is in a few months. I'll save this post and repost when the Hillary hype starts. Yep. That is how it goes.
We will see if Hillary wins the primary first Not sure whose better between Clinton and Trump though - Clinton tends to base policies based on public opinion rather than through intuition and understanding. By the way, nice personal attack. I always appreciate them.
Oh so your solution to our 18 Trillion dollar debt is to spend more money? You are so right. And of course cutting and slashing will never work alone, we have to make profit somehow. But it's simply common sense, when you are in debt stop spending so much and earn money.
But how? You guys aren't a huge manufacturer anymore, more consumer than anything just buying up resources you need with money you guys don't have.
That's my point exactly. By becoming bigger manufacturers we are bringing money in. And more manufacturing is also bringing jobs to America.
Well... To start cutting the debt - maybe the tax loopholes for corporations should be blocked off. The government has been standing by as a large amount of corporations get away with paying a 0% tax rate. During the recession, trillions of dollars of taxpayer money got paid out towards the corporations to bail them out. Now it's time for the corporations to help pay their fair share for getting the country out of debt. I would rather see the debt eliminated on the backs of those who can afford a tax hike, rather than on the backs of those who cannot afford social security cuts. Another thing: investing in the infrastructure of the economy will ultimately help manufacturing in the long run. It gets people back to work with good jobs and gives them skills.
Democrats should win. Obama did a better job in his 8 years than Bush W. did in his 8. Having said that, I like Carson better than Trump. Trump was born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a homerun. While Carson was one of the leading neurosurgeons in the entire world. Idiots don't get to be surgeons, let alone neurosurgeons. Left-leaning pundits like Bill Maher misconstrue Carson to make his beliefs sound more radical than they really are. He would make a smarter, better president than most others, problem is his party is too far out of touch with the economic and global realities of the 21st century. Hilary will get elected.
But that'll never take off without the manufacturers there in the first place. Which is what I'm saying. And you said you would rather have people who can afford it pay off the debt, you realize bernie is planning to raise tax, Don't you?
