I've been owned by people that owned their significant other and for whatever reason pm isn't good enough to "talk" for them and I'm just like please sell me I like ac to not be filled with that :|

This. There are so many people that have pretended to be women on this game to get favors from gullible men. Remember Scarlett from the Foxes? :lol: Here's something that happened to me back in 2011. Two of my clan mates get close and decide to take things to the next level. They developed feelings for each over Pm. Not sure how that works, but anyway. She's from LA, he moves all the way from the UK for her. Uproots his life for a total stranger on a whim. They move in. Then there's the usual over the top displays of affections on each other's walls. A month into it, they realize that they were very different and although things seemed fine and dandy on the game, it wasn't going to work out. He even proposed to her. Every time they'd have a fight, we'd see the drama on kaw. Eventually at some point they end stuff and he steals from her and moves back to the UK. It tore our clan apart. All the drama and infighting. It turned ugly. So my take on it, is dating on KaW is just like dating on any other social dating website. It's dangerous. No one is 100% truthful. I've know people who have met on KaW and got married, but it's a very small percentage. The amount of failed game-to-RL relationships are considerably higher.
As a ratio, undoubtably. Purely because it's impossible to fall in love with someone you don't really know. You can fall in love with a personality (assuming it's genuine) but there's more to it than that. There's body language, pheromones and all sorts of other things that make people compatible and I don't think it's possible to get that from words on a screen.
Thank you. Case in point would be Deni. Remember all the fuss about her lesbian relationship with Jenni and so on? All the drama over it? It bleeds into your game play and could make other people around you uncomfortable when the drama starts. At the end of the day, how do you fall in love with someone on a game? Is it their equipment that attracts you? Or the way their Kingdom is set up? Most of these e-relationships are because it's harder for them to date in real life or some sort of dysfunction, because I don't know anyone who rather date online than go out on a real life date.
Haven't some people in the past met and married because of kaw. Pretty certain that's happened once at least. I know some couples that have met and worked on here and gone on to work in real life. And some that don't. Simply put kaw isn't a dating site. But it is a social app. Any thing that brings people together will always create bonds and some may go further than in game relationships. The only real opinion I have on this. Is that everyone should use all Normal internet dating precautions. Stay safe and if you meet up do so in public in a safe manner. Obviously not everyone on here is an adult hence why any requests for personal info is discouraged. People should be fully aware not every player is who they say they are. And they must put their own safety first.
I know you well enough Deni. I've seen your dysfunctional relationships on KaW. All the rage and drama. The constant need for approval and to be the center of attention is what is a main factor in you hoping from one relationship to another. I'm sure that's very healthy.
