Apple pays corporation tax in Ireland @12.5% which did not go up. All their tax that they pay in the world is paid in Ireland as they use this country as a tax haven. It's just pure greed. Ata can compensate players from the regions that went up by bringing our prices in line with America. Wonder if the xtals and nobs prices were reduced for Icelandic players
Ted they reckon the tax apple payed last year was around 1% to Ireland! Although it's a bit dodge what Ireland and Apple had agreed on!Another big corporation dodging paying anything. As for you and me comes out every month!
ATA could have easily absorbed the extra cost or upped the amount of nob/crystal we get for our money. This is just greed from Apple and ATA have not even tried to help played from effected country's.
Sorry but it makes no sense to have a discounted bulk price that is higher than individual pricing, I am sure that is not determined by Apple. So far my feedback has received a reply which suggests there is a pricing problem, hopefully at least the discount will be restored
Ok, I know you can't help this new VAT on stuff we buy in the oracle, but instead of lowering the price, can't Yous just increase on what we're getting , like change the 6xstal pack to a 8 xstal pack ect, this would be appreciated if it could happen
All is not cool. Ata saying it's not their fault is fine, but you have now created a two tier game where it's cheeper to play the game if your a yank. Ata should set the pricing the same in all regions and absorb the margin difference European players should just drop our bags and take one up the hole. Enough is enough Btw. Hi Whatever ya bawbag
Agreed snicker man Ata could increase xtals and nobs for those regions that got a price increase. Ata and Apple are a joke
By the way if you are not happy with pricing why not make the effort to post feedback. I will not buy on KAW until the price structure is corrected, maybe never again. It's a personal choice to spend money or play for free, I'm complaining not only about an increase but mainly that it's cheaper to pay for 5 individual purchases rather than 1 purchase for the same goods.
What does make me wonder is does Ata do anything? If the revenue they receive stays the same then no they probably won't. If they find people do spend less then maybe you might find crystal and nob increase! It's only just happened so time will tell!!
First of all in my previous post I made a mistake. In UK market the £3.49 price tier don't exist anymore. Now I'll explain to you why we have this odd situation when an "discounted" pack is more expensive than if you purchase 5 small packs. The 200 nobility pack still cost $4.99. The anomaly is coming mostly from Apple's price tier system. As of today $4.99 equal with £3.3 (Apple is using own rate exchange but be it... Let's use the official rate exchange). The actual price tiers for UK market are these: 0, 0.79, 1.49, 1.99, 2.99, 3.99, 4.99, 5.99...etc. Now let's take that £3.3 value. Is between 2.99 and 3.99 price tiers. So Apple will move it either to £2.99 tier and lose money (no matter how much you actually pay in USD, Apple still have to pay $3.5 to ATA) either move it to superior tier at £3.99 and make some extra cash (for same reason even if actually pay $6.05 for that pack $4.99 pack, ATA will get only 70% of $4.99 which is $3.5)
O2, I've forwarded my comments to Devs via feedback with regards to this price increase I suggest everyone does the same...
Funny thing, Apple makes their devices to be Able to run more updates, than regular android devices, android is very limited by hardware... Just read that today, developers having issues keeping up with new devices Coming each Month, in less words android is a paín in the butt to develop
Here is the Apple price tier matrix: http://forecomm.mptw.fr/templates/PriceMatrix.html A developer can only chose the price tier. The value of the price tier in all markets is set by Apple without developer to have anything to say about this. Now let's get ATA and UK market case: ATA chosed Tier1 for 10nobs, Tier5 for 50nobs and Tier20 for 200nobs. In USA market these tiers are evaluated by Apple as following: Tier1 - $0.99 Tier5 - $4.99 Tier20 - $19.99 Now if we look on that matrix will see that on UK market these tiers are evaluated (again, by Apple) as following: Tier1 - £0.79 Tier5 - £3.99 Tier20 - £14.99 The only way for ATA to make it cheaper for UK players would be to chose different price tiers for these packages. This if they could do it. But they can't. Apple doesn't allow them to chose different price tiers for selected markets.
