I was more thinking about what if you made a noob mistake. For example, you get hold of a sickle, but its more crap that ur sword, so you sell it, unaware u need it for another eb. I can see it being exploited, but at the same time, I can see the potential for gamechanging mistakes, if you cant ever get something youve sold again.
Gold is gold, few billion here few billion there why not? If your doing a br that drops the crap equip you sold already then why not?
I can see that however most sought after is mith equip. This would on one hand over power a lot of players but on the other make more interested in warring. I think 15 is max mith you should be able to buy ( Unholy Aurora ) and equip you sale should start non enchanted. Give small players the ability to hit big ebs but still haft to war to enchant. It is kind of unfair that a small player could buy mith equip for gold ( Has to be a large price tag of course ). Some will still choose to earn it others to buy it, end game being more players being enticed to war. The end will justify the means
Ok... then I would say take mith and mithquip off the black market altogether. Let that stay a war prize. Keep the inventory limit for quip at only one, but if you sell something, you are free to go eb hunt for it again, or buy it from someone else on the B.M.
Why not mith equip for a high gold price? As it sits if I warred right now I would be completely outmatched Bfe/Bfa wise. Lb players could make a profit then war again to rebuy the equip. Make warring a business instead of a hobby . Just trying to keep things going and ideas flowing
To be honest, not to sure about that. Too noob sorry. I for one could not afford the same level as equipment as your good self sir. Unsure how that would encourage new or growing players to war. It would favour the bigger builds, or the seal droppers. (Yes I know im in a hte clan at the moment, its my first time lol) If mith stayed a war thing, then anyone could join a war and gather it with less focus on the size of the warrior.
It falls into the "Sell unwanted equipment" theory. Small players get higher BFA and war to enchant to make that bonus larger. Simple, no one would be forcing warring players to give up there mith equip and could also be sold off if the player in question is leaving kaw.
So Ops is there any point in asking Q's if no answers r given? 2 posts so far shall i continue til i get answers? Ignore the above... Well if ppl can buy or trade for everything why bother doing eb's or war even eventually. Sure some ppl spend months hoping the BOW to drop for example n u bet they'd just luv it if anybody just went out n bought it. Makes a mockery of those who earned it. In no way would ppl war more often unless no choice. That would result in ppl leaving if anything. Sure let ppl buy what they want n play any eb they choose n not pay their dues n grow n hit eb's not in their range. Simply a marvellous idea. But heh lets make it fair n unload excess unwanted inventory for a few pieces of gold n get rid of all the tap tap n maybe war will be more important again. Not likely. Summary: looking for easy way out defeats the purpose of playing the game.
Firstly, this does not defeat the game in any way at all. People will still equip hunt. Difference being there will be normal hunters & hunters strictly for profit. Secondly "Oh pity me!! I fought for the bow and he got it by buying it..." Boo Freaking Hoo! Most people I see dont use the bow they have! Why not let someone else buy it off you and make 2 people happy? Thirdly, people will still hit ebs wiether its for Br bonus, Mage, Promo, or just helping people. Saying they will not do ebs is completely ludicrous! Unless they have a large stash of aqua/inferno (Outside of Hte payers) they haft to or pay 7.5bl for 1 inferno or 5 xtals for 1 aqua! Yes smaller ebs will perish. Question is haven't they already? Give them higher BFA = bigger ebs = faster growth. So tell me your conspiracy theory again about how it does not help war?
I don't doubt there will always be issues with ideas, but I'm not the only person that can come up with solutions. However your points are invalid from what I can see. 1) "why would people do ebs or war if they can trade these items" These items are only obtainable in the first instance from wars and EBs. And as this is player controlled and not dev controlled there will only be a finite number of these equipment in the game unless you war or EB. You seem to believe that nostalgia won't play a role in this aspect of the game. If a bow took 6 months to collect then that seller is unlikely to sell it due to the hard work, or the price will be very high. It is a players choice to sell, the bow is (in my opinion) unlikely to be seen as trash equipment for selling. 2) "war will decrease" I highly doubt it. If people do not take place in wars and gain the equipment that they provide then they won't be on the BM anyway. Making it a null point. I believe that if people don't have to chase PVE for the chance for drops and just have the equipment they require through the market they will have more free time to war. Not all features of this game have to be about war - I personally do war but there are many that are content with ebs etc. If this game was still solely about warring then ebs would never have been implemented.
As I said, when buying mith equip it starts, out with NO levels.meaning to actually put levelS on it you haft to war
