Great post Valk - hit nail on the head Its nice to see names in replies from people that do love to war - rather than a bunch of people that have no idea about EE
agreed with OP, this is literally perfectly saying what is the case, and to all who hate ind wars; you only hatenthem because you can't manipulate them in a form to win
Exploit…the biggest kaw buzzword of the last 12 months. I'm tired of people thinking that using your brain and making sacrifices for the good of your clan is somehow an "exploit." For the love of god, what kind of hippy socialist war game do you want? All builds, all clans, all warriors were not created equal. Creating a legitimate strategy to win wars is revered throughout history, yet somehow in kaw it is viewed as a dirty exploit. Personally, I'm a fan of "run what ya brung" racing, and think that it should apply in wars too. I don't want to war alongside a bunch of noobs who dont know how to sko, dont fill out opp roster, or somehow think that warring twice makes them a wc. War me with bigs, war me with sh, war me with anyone that actually knows wtf they're doing. It is pathetic that EE lvl 3+ will soon be reserved for those lucky enough to land on good rosters rather than those who fight with skill and persistance. These fairy wars are fantastic to introduce new players and smaller builds to EE, but for the seasoned warriors out there, or the ones who have sacrificed trillions upon trillions into their war builds...this is ********
I would love to see a scenario where individuals can fill out rosters that may not be complete. i've never wanted to "perm" at a foreign clan for a season because the EE schedule is not very "Faf Friendly". if wars are 20v20 and a clan has 10 people that cast, transport 10 randoms in for the war, or maybe bring in 5 to match up against another clan with 15.... This might be complicated logistically for the matchmaking algorithm, but might be worthwhile... it seems is that the individual wars, if anything, are sparking some really good ideas and feedback.
I think leaky builds should be farmed when they dont carry their WEIGHT non towered hansels make me cringe looking at the roster
It's not the build that make the player a good fighter. A decent player can do well overall with their build. There's no such thing as a leaky build, because the fact is, if they're active, they can plunder then self ko, before leaking
Untowered attack builds are not bad. I can get top 5 plunder in most of the indi wars and I have no towers. I have a sko rate of over 80%. What makes me bad? The fact I can war and EB? Is that a problem? I'm not a tank so I don't war like one. Any build can war but you don't war every build the same.
It's all about knowing your build and setting it up the way you play and being active The fact is, towers are great, if you want to survive longer, be ko'd less, but if you ain't got towers all you got to do is, self ko, pick better targets and not cry about losing hits In honest, the best thing would be to have a mix of builds. Yet the stigma of not having towers is terrible. Personally, my towers are for decoration. All my buildings are.
Comely while that maybe more true in 1 hour plunder fests the devs have turned ee into that's not true in longer ee wars where control is more important where actual strategies and counter strategies come into play Ur builds eb builds are only good for plunder fest turtle wars ... But then again 1 hour advantage wars are exactly that hence the reason hansels have a hard time finding clan wars
You need to fix indi wars, u need to make req like 1xtil to cast, and u need to make them no be able to war if innac war b4, its waste, do 50/50 clan and indi wars, its so dumb with innacts and ppl who dont xtial
I like how the main people that enjoy individual wars are mids, while the people who hate it are the people such as bigs who benefit from exploiting the most If bigs dislike individual wars, then they should just not do it, stop being jealous that mids have a chance of getting the equip you "worked so hard for" when every matchup was in your favor
Drag, read through this thread and check people's builds and things, most of these guys are lb or bigs as you call them
I wouldn't classify myself as a small, but I do love Indi wars. I've met and warred with some great peeps. Yes, the inactives have to be dealt with or the account who was just created yesterday. They also need to have a mix of Indi and clan wars. They saw the guild hansel as an exploit and tried to cover it up. So yes a sh will also be classified as an exploit to them as well. I highly doubt the devs will go to an all Indi format, so hopefully soon they will have a mixture of both. Just because someone likes to play this game differently than you doesn't mean they are stupid or the other senseless names they've been called. The devs need to think of more ways to better fit a wider variety of playing styles.
