Yes I agree. There doesn't need to be a whole new system. Even if no tweaks happens, and there's less promos or less promos that drop equip it would help. There's an excess need for the Mage because of promos. Some thing needs to give. I'd prefer promos do but we know that won't happen, so adjust the Mage.
Like i said earlier up the element rewards from events since so many r released. Thats a more obvious n moderate tweak IMO
Another option is some EB's can be tweaked eg make them more specific to dropping elements. To do that maybe a new mid n high tier combo can be released.
FYI most of my posts r playing the Devils Advocate. Banter n arguments bring out productive input. I've never thought i've all the answers nor ever will. The preponderance of EQ leaves a void that needs attention.
That's a good idea. Might give incentive to run different ebs and switch it up a bit. They could have a couple different ebs that suit low, mid an high tiers. I've found the discussion interesting. Only way to produce good ideas is through considering all options
Same here. As long we keep cool it gets out different points of view. There is no denying EQ takes a lot more elements than ever before.
yes the imbalance, let's say newest event eq costs 285+ aqua/inferno to max (I'm ball parking it cause it'll be a while til I get the inferno required) and even with a decent amount of activity drop chances are random, like rolling some dice but with more faces than six. Since the drop is so random it can't be said how long it will take to amass that much material, the fail rate is also just as random it could double or even triple the cost you may have required until that equipment is maxed, all this current system has going for it is probability. You keep preaching the purchasing of inferno, 7.5b isn't an easy price for some smaller players just unlocking the mage. They have better things to put that gold to use like pots, allies, upgrades and saving up for next land, far more productive than wasting hundreds of billions on something that is rewarded freely albeit occasional. What about those whom may find themselves short on aqua but stacked on inferno? Should they pay $3+ for one aqua? Hell no! The imbalance between drops and requirements is present, most here aren't asking for hundreds of aqua/inferno to magically appear into their accounts with 100% success rate, we're simply asking for wanting to max out and use some equipment more than just a chore I have to force myself to do, games are about having fun. Some times I'm the grinder in games I play and invest a good number of hours into it, but when the grind is months of real time for something that'll become outdated by then isn't how you hook players into a game, some games get away with this *coughEVEcough* however each step is a rewarding experience rather than a never ending gauntlet to keep up. I still don't understand what EBs and Events overrunning KaW and the well being of the social aspect (it's lacking a little in the public channels) and EBs have to do with drop rates, because they have absolutely nothing to do with this discussion nor with the idea behind it, all you've provided are suggestions that just don't help with making max enchanting equip a worthwhile experience.
Anytime ATA makes tweaks or fixes it should be done right the 1st time. The devs have done many tweaks over time n continue to do more. The game has morphed so much that at times the issues can be overwhelming but one by one the real issues need done firstly. Everyone will vary on what those r. As we know LL war beta is in the works n we can be sure more Events r coming. Given time more evolving is sure to come n not for a minute is ATA planning on killing this game. Makes no sense. Constructive forums n the community's good input will be noticed I'm sure. Its the majority's interest that will be the key to all things. The issues/ideas will continually change the make up of who represents that majority.

Ops I've added your plea for more Inferno drops to my LL War thread in the form war has Inferno rewards. I suggested it offsets the need for more inferno due to so many EQ from events.
I know this is a thread for inferno, but need to think of aqua also. If something changes with one, it should change with the other. Some people have more inferno than aqua.
