again, the point of this is to make money, so the average kawer is inclined to PvP instead of EB. doing that would still keep EB's alive. This strategy is to completely change the games mentality from EB's to PvP. Eb's would still exist obviously but this would help them lose popularity quickly. If you do that, then people would hit a bit, then go hit EB's like crazy with their faster regen. I still believe they should give money.
well I don't know coding but its just adding a certain amount of gold every hour like the regeneration of soldiers already in place, and simply every time you have a successful hit on a person, you get 10 Soliders. Doesn't seem too difficult. Then again im not a coder so idk haha.
Multiple things: First, the PoWs as described in OP would produce too much gold for small players. So the bonus of the PoWs could be scaled upwards with building updates to give a reasonable amount of cash to players depending on their size. Next, to solve the problem of farming alts, limit troop gains from 1 person in a day. This way alt farming is incredibly tedious, but situations where you're hitting lots of people over long periods of time can provide good bonuses. 3rdly, there should be a cap on the number of PoWs. That would help put an overall cap on PoW income, and help balance the income. Lastly, so devs can make money, allow the purchase of PoWs for nobs.
I completely agree on the scaling portion. scales could be determined by devs. limits i'm not too much of a fan of but then again it gets rid of a big problem so im torn. No cap to encourage more PvP. and agree on nobs to an extent. maybe like mithril, you can only buy so many until you can't buy anymore. Because if you could buy unlimited than it would be abused so much haha
Hourly gold tick isn't hard to do. Many mmos back a few years ago we're based on hourly income. However, KaW forces you to play, instead of sit around waiting for your hourly gold points. This would create a massive restart/farming scam in the lower bottoms btw.
I like this idea but i also propose something to go with it. Every once in a while, you can capture or steal a captain, you cannot use them, but they can be ransomed to get like another 10 million gold or something
1 mil gold an hour is virtually nothing, its the idea of it. and also if you're hitting a lot and making 160mil gold an hour who cares? its gonna be hit off of you by other people doing the same thing. This is simply to get more hitting in the game. I know this game didn't initially want hour wages, but lets be honest, did this game want hitting monsters religiously and never hitting another account for like months? no. this is better than EB's and its not like the income is automatic, you have to build the build and thenHIT PEOPLE which is the point of this game lmao
