/ignore my posts. I read the rest of the thread. On a total side note, did devs use my idea at all?
Devs never called it cheating. But it has been exploited to the point where it creates terrible imbalance in the game. How fair is it to create a new account and have trillions of gold on it the following day? Unbalanced games cause frustration and make a game less playable. Its not cheating - but it is an imbalance that needs patched. The ignorant often defend their stance by refusing to try and see things from another's point of view and simply saying other people are "Drinking the kool-aid", are "stupid" or are "Kissing the asses of others". Don't be that guy - take a step back and really take a hard look at the reasons behind this and you will see it is not to make the game "less playable" but to serve the masses and make a more balanced and fun playing environment.
Someone needs to start a clan called "The Parking Garage" or "Long Term Storage" where we can leave our accounts to get farmed and ally stripped until KAW becomes a legitimate war game worth playing again. ---Bummed---
@ Wulf - looking at the Completions LB I only see 26 ppl who have more than the 30 resets in 30 days that you alluded to. How is this the 'vast majority' of players that you referenced?
I have no concerns Croaker. The LB does not concern me. The cure for the problem may make the LB actually reflect players who play the game rather than having to competing with accounts used to exploit it. Ask around - most will tell you the LB is a joke. Devs are not screwing people - a few hundred will lose some ally slots (NOT ALLIES - Just the slots) in exchange for a more balanced game for hundreds of thousands of other accounts. No one is losing items. Reset items will still be available via EB (Harder than Resetting was) If anything Resetting bonuses just became HARDER to achieve making them valuable again. It will take "some noob" SUBSTANTIALLY more time to get the "reset items" than current day resetters.
Yes - the reset items are NOT EQUIPMENT. They are permanent items that are always active once you have them. Only difference is now people must spend likely several weeks doing Epic Battles to getting them instead of a few days being fed by clans and alts to do resets.
Let's get realistic here for a minute, the only problem I see here is people are using big accounts that have huge gold from Allies and nob exchange are moving the gold to small accounts and Devs are losing out on cash from the second account. Remember most won't waste nobs on a small account since the exchange rate is so small.
@Wulf I see the your reasoning... But that doesn't make their solution the right one or even a good one. You can claim that resetters aren't being "punished"; but a cop could easily tell an inmate who's being detained for 24 hours that he's not being punished... The fact of the matter is that most people feel as though this IS a punishment for having invested a lot of time and energy into something that's being grossly devalued. As far as it stopping the issues with allies resetting and costing a lot of money? Make it so that if someone resets they give %60 value. Problem solved. As far as making the playing field "balanced and fair"? KaW isn't and never was balanced. Look at the "Legend of IG" thread for instance which, somehow, made it into the "Best Of" forums. You guys have very strong preferences in terms of who you cater to... I'm not saying to "Give a better reason". I'm saying that what you're feeding us is a line of bull crap to make us feel better about the fact that you (Kaw devs really) are screwing us.
This is dumb it just helps stop ppl resetting on eb warriors. It does nothing to stop ppl resetting alts and strippers in osw. Nice work devs
Correct to a point. But your not seeing the big picture. Growth is supposed to be slow. Wanna get big? Play the game. As to "Spending money" Nobility exchange rate prevents abuse of nobbing gold. Maximum daily purchase rates prevent abuse of buying your way to the top too quickly. Gone now are the days of buying nobility on several HLBC accounts to transfer to a small account. Volley transfer circumvents the Nob exchange rate and the daily spending limits. These changes actually prevent Overspending in KAW just to BC an account.

Another thing they could have done easily is have the reset items drop from BL and not EB, even some sort of system war drop would have been great, that wouldn't have been a hard task for the Devs. The last thing this app needs is more items dropping from eb's.
Wulf ur statements are just that, I never said devs called volleying cheating, if u look in your quote that is 2 mentalist who called it that, also 2nd comment I still stand by ur just kissing asses of the devs and not looking at the big picture that this actually makes the game more unfair and unbalanced, this thread is about reset bonuses not the drop volleys, sorry I don't know how 2 quote, I've stayed our of forums until this **** brought me out
The vast majority refers to the number of 4x LC resets that occur in 5 days or less due to a combination of inflation with a loophole in the ally hiring system. As someone who spent months resetting that infuriates me.
@Wulf Thanks for the previous reply... I see what you're saying about the EB drops taking longer then resetting if you are resetting once/day. Most players aren't doing that though... For the majority of us it was a grind. And during that grind we couldn't get anything else... It held us back in a big way. Now, however, that will no longer be the case. To get the same bonuses as we worked our tails off for "some nooby" is going to need to do nothing special at all. We've put in the work and made the sacrifices... Our efforts are being devalued... A couple of nobs (provided soley to those who did the exploit that you're claiming is the problem) doesn't really change that.
Wolf I see lots of talk where is the responce to my post. Or is it that you don't care about osw like the devs
