All players who took advantage of this feature and have 5 or more resets we will be retroactively commending those players. They will be given the "Resurrection" achievement in recognition of there hard work and dedication. Note: In order to see the achievement it may be necessary to restart the application.
@Croaker Mate, calm down, take a breath. You're gonna hurt yourself. 1.Paragraphs are important 2. 4 resets in a month? Took me a month each for first 2 resets. Guess I need some more 'friends' like you seem to have to help us along Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more (So, arguably, you're part of the problem that meant we had to get rid of resets. Moose too says one of his alts did the four day reset. Um... Does that fail more on a logical or ethical front? 'I did my resets in a month! Waaay too easy. Had to end!') 3.Yes, the Kindle bonus WAS available to everyone... With a Kindle. But... the percentage of players on a Kindle was... Oh, what's the use in trying to explain it to you, Croaker? It's just gonna upset you more. 4.I agree, NEVER said that they should release these as EB drops. (But you must have inferred that from my body language. Quite clever of you, really, seeing as this is an online game and all). But anyway, I can just tell how irrate this is making you, Croaker. Don't want that. So... Alright... You win... Sorry to argue... I see... Yes, quite right... A nice cup of tea and a lie down, you'll feel much better
Croaker- i was here in the day the item phases were dreaded, then the repeat attack button came along... Ebs used to be tedious, 4 clicks per attack. I was there. I started playing days before the first epics came out. It was harder to do EVERYTHING back then. This is now. There is no good reason to end reset bonuses and its unfair.
For the achievement, would it still be available if we reset nowadays ? or is it simply for the players that reset before the update?
@Punish You may not be the best person to be try serving as a grammar nazi... In the same way that paragraphs are important? So are punctuation and capitalization. Honestly the fact that you're resorting to grammatical corrections (despite the hypocrisy of it being you that makes the correction) does nothing to support your case. Your attempts at mockery, despite being somewhat amusing, are also poorly judged. For me this really isn't personal... And that's going to continue to be the case regardless of how many times you make the assertion. Regarding the Kindle? It didn't benefit only those who had a kindle... It was a bonus you could recieve if you purchased a specific kindle during the promotional period. Once again you chose to speak despite having no knowledge of the topic you were addressing. The assertion that I was using "friends" to reset so quickly is true. If you accept that a world chat requesting a volley to 2B is using friends. Since most of the people I know consider a volley to 2B to be fairly standard or even low though, and considering that you yourself are worth 13B, which is a higher value than I had on all but my first reset, it's reasonable to say that my "friends" in the infamous world chat must certainly be providing you an even greater advantage. -Punish- It's clear that your opinions here are emotionally supported and will remain the same regardless of the number of silly little "facts" that get in your way. Until you learn to, at a minimum, take the time to check your facts before posting them as facts? There's no chance we'll see eye to eye.
@Pattus As previously stated the reset bonuses were, to the best of my knowledge, ended as a way to strengthen the ally market. I've also been told that this isn't the first time the devs have tried to pull the reset bonuses... So there's likely more to it. At the end of the day though? All I can do is guess as to their reasons for stopping the resets. As long as you're not trying to get some half baked idea introduced wherein the reset bonuses are provided by farming an EB or a person or buying off the market or something else that would be similarly devalue the efforts of those who did perform resets? Than I have no problem with your continued lobbying. Best of luck to you and happy KaWing.
@Croaker, Sorry, had to read your posts a few times before I could understand it. Brilliantly worded, logically deft. It took a few readings before I could grasp the great depth of meaning it contained. I will try to raise my poor command of the English language to... Oh, what's the point? It'll always be eclipsed by the poetry of your posts. However, the point I was trying to make was (and I know this argument will melt before your god-like powers of reasoning) is that: The Kindle bonus was not available to the greater KaW community. You had to own a Kindle - and a particular kind, at that. Doesn't sound very inclusive. Whereas reset bonus had been available to any that wanted it. (I didn't know it was a SPECIAL model of Kindle. Tell me, was it a special color?). Sorry for getting my facts wrong there. My hire value may be high, however if you check my activity, you'll notice that I wasn't doing rush resets. Just a small matter. Sorry to point out that you kind of had been. Doing. Speedy resets, I mean. Once again, your knowledge on this matter far exceeds my own. I bow to your vast, superior wisdom. Tell me, what color is your resurrection badge, for I fear the likes such as myself, will never get to see its glory.... Adieu.
@ Croaker, Praise be. Did I read correctly? You will permit our continued lobbying for reset bonuses to be returned? Oh, you wonderful, generous-hearted, saint of a man! He gives us permission. Let us praise him
Before eb's existed resetting was actually hardish to do. Players like me chose not to reset and grow instead(because resetting was time consuming). With the introduction of eb's players could easily get all of the reset items in a few months or even weeks/days. It made reset items too easy to get and they lost their value. To stop rewarding players for nothing the devs had to change the system.
@kaw_admin your initial post has been edited since your most recent update. There is a contradiction though where you say that reset bonuses are being removed completely and also state that the equipment will remain in place. Clarification would be appreciated. @platinum good question. Yes you can earn the new achievement. @punish You had to purchase one not previously own one... I have no idea what color schemes were available because I chose not to participate in that offer while it was available. I also don't know what color the resurrection badge will be. I did 4 resets not 5+ and thus don't have that achievement. I see that you took longer on your resets than I did... To be honest I was probably more active than you though; which would certainly account for it... Without knowing your activity I can't be certain but it's either going to be due to a difference in activity or competence so I'm choose to make the assumption that it's the one which is less offensive. Edit - @ Punish Is such childish behavior the norm for you? At this point your posts are no longer staying on topic or relevant. Please either remove yourself from this thread or stay within the context of the thread.
@Croaker Sorry. Will not allow humor to be misread as a personal attack. I have nothing against you. Just your argument. So - back to thread. Please make reset bonuses available to all. Not just those who did speedy resets. People who were close to reset /had been gunning for reset feel ripped off.
@Punish Reading the first post? The achievement (and possibly some form of stastical bonus) will be available for future KaWers. After this newest update though I'm not sure that even the old guys will be keeping their bonus. The reason I'm unsure is that the third quote was posted before the first quote was edited; and I believe that the second has been there all along but I don't remember for sure. Going to walk away from forums for a bit. Things like that tend to get sorted out pretty quickly once they're pointed out.
I noticed there is an achievement for 5 land completion resets. Is the the achievement bonus? If so that blows.
