Talking a billion dollars here. How much do you need for strippers/coke? I binged 24/7 for a couple weeks once (all out) ...didn't even break 6k (including booze, pot ...and everything else)
I would probably invest 750 million in a bunch of companies, then I would spend about 100 million on properties, cars, then 50 million on a supercomputer (to calculate market stuff, run video games, etc), then waste the remaining 100 million.
It's for more than just that. I would calculate market statistics, economies, political races, that kind of thing to make more money.
You gonna invest 750m all by yourself??? Assuming you're not a billionaire (which I can say with 99% confidence you aren't) I bet that will go poorly.. Also, are we failing to consider the fact that in the US you have to pay taxes?
1. I'm not a billionaire. But i would only put relatively small amounts of money in companies so that even if they go south (which a few inevitably will), I don't lose that much, plus that $50 million supercomputer would be able to calculate a rough forecast of a companies short term growth. EDIT- I never said I would invest it alone, did I? 2. Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
Yes. Warren Buffets gains come from his 50 million dollar super computer that helps calculate "companies short term growth"
1) upgrade house/car 2) payoff car and house for relatives of 1 degree separation 3) take close friends on awesome/trouble filled vacation 4) lease a building to open my ideal strength training center (ill get bored without some responsibility) 5) hire a financial advisor to manage at least 25% (probably closer to 50%) 6) make a substantial contribution to the charaties i am closest to and have yet to piss me off. 7) sit on the rest for a while, likely as low risk inheritance should i reproduce.
My state doesn't allow winners to stay anonymous, so probably get murdered by one of those crazy people who spent thousands on tickets.
I'd use it to buy more seats in the house and senate to repeal obamacare. Then I'd buy some more seats in congress to put an end to illegal wars and force the president to take a vote in congress any time he wants to use the military. I'd buy more seats to get the Fed audited. Finally, after all that work is done, I'd buy a campaign to pass a constitutional amendment that would outlaw the ability to buy seats, close the revolving door, and put people behind bars when they break the law, like those wall street bankers who caused the Great Recession and politicians who lie and cheat. I have modest goals
