  1. ^Then there are those that fangirl and don't contribute to the discussion.

  2. That's me saying Benny is tooting is own horn on this thread. Lol

I've already told PrincessBacon what I liked and didn't like about this idea in private message.

  3. Oh 100% aj, spot on 

  4. But @moose some kids have some extra times in their lifes! There are always the few who play outside then go inside and finish there homework with like 5hours to spare and (if they play kaw and their respectful to the community) they could be a possible jmod

  5. Candy, benny mentioned that in 2011 there was no age restriction for mods and there were too many complications.
No need to push your product anymore.

  6. There weren't any complications, everything was dandy.

  7. Is that sarcasm?
You mentioned a mod being grounded, several others going inactive and something I forgot at the time of this post lol.

  8. Now that I think about it, there have been a much higher percent of adult moderators forcefully removed than children. Go figure.

  9. That was moose, sasuke.

  10. Eh, what are you going to do?
    It's that KaWcaine, I guess.

  11. Then moose, I don't havr time to quote. It's passing midnight -.-

  12. It is here too, brains still functioning 100%

  13. Kaw has enough moderators at the moment. No support

  14. Jk. Good idea but wouldn' t work out very well.

  15. I'd say half-support to this idea. Sure it has some positive effects, but also a few negative and a few holes in it.
    Goodness:
More moderation for current wc and walls
Having teens growing up with more responsibility than normal, making them better people.
More mod time. If you compare the spare time a full-time working adult has with the spare time a schoolgoing kid has, you clearly see that the kids can moderate way longer per day. Don't know if all the mods have full time jobs though.
Community has more variation in moderation

    Bad things:
    Age check?
How do you know for sure the assigned JMods are mature enough to handle the job?
    Startling
Targetting by pervs (as mentioned before by others)
    Rage attacks

    A few suggestions:
Make JMod 24-hour silences not count towards permsilence: JMods need to make a report with screenshots and send that to the "real" mods, who can then decide if it was a fair silence or not, then approving or disapproving the silence: making it count for the perm, or lifting it.
As others also said before: the popular ones would get "recommended" to ATA, and maybe not those that should be JMod. I'd suggest ATA picks JMods themselves. Would maybe be a little hard because they don't know everyone's age, but hey, they can try to interview the most helpful, right?
Also I'd say you need to be at least 2 years an active member of kaw. This gets the teens that would want to be JMod to know the community alot better, and prepare them better for what they will be, because they already deal 2 years with the environment.

Also: if someone does not get paid for their job, does it still count as a real job? Where I live, you can't do full time work until you are 18 years old, but you can do volunteering jobs at any age. Does this also apply to Apple stuff?

Yes I am in the 14-18 age bracket myself, and I would happily test this if it is good for the community.

I know my grammar and vocab sucks, don't judge me for it, allright? ;)

  16. Ehh I don't care anymore. For as many good points there's a equal amount of bad points. I'll come back to this Idea later and probably improve it. Ehh rather it die than be locked so please don't lock it mods.

  17. Yes please lock this idiotic idea

  18. Age 14 is a little too young I could understand slight leniency but there needs to be a definitive cut off date and I personally don't feel like a 14 year old has the maturity required to do such a task.

  19. 2 Years to be in the community! That's a little much. I haven't been playing for 6 months and i know a damn good amount about this game and am always helping people out when they ask questions. You don't need to play for a long time you just need to love the game.
