You inspired me and I'll do an EB guide! Sounds dumb right? Because Wulf's guide is the best EB guide so repeating his work would suck. The same happened with you, your work is appreciated but there's already a guide. Just keep supporting community and innovate.
No1 a bbcode thread with great detail already exists making your thread spam and not needed. 2 complaining publicly on forums about a silence is against tou. 3 if you are going to post mods on a target list as a basic they are mods they must all suffer. Get to know them and how they moderate accordingly. Look through forums and you will see for example inferno often puts himself at odds with both players and devs arguing in favour of what benefits the players most. Some should not be mods in my humble opinion. But some put great effort into doing a thankless and rewardless job, that just opens them up to continual abuse and resentment. Think you can do better. Rather than threads like this. Do ones that add to forums constructively. Help players for years and then apply to be one yourself. Then you can actually help improve the quality of moderators from within.
I don't understand the end result you are looking for? To get rid of mods? They do their job as best they can. This is like saying get rid of the police because they go overboard every so often. Although from other comments it looks like you went against the ToU do you deserved it.
Something to do with mods and the working class rising up against the moderating aristocracy and ending their thousand year oppression. I think.
The end result isn't set in stone. Yet. After I get enough people to sign the petition, I'll contact the developers to raise our issues. We don't plant to get ride of moderators at all—it's a great idea and a wonderful vehicle of communication between the devs and the players, however, I'd like to either a.) restrict their locking/silencing powers a bit, or b.) reiterate to them that their methods should be 100% peaceful (which they are not currently). Also, I think it would be a good idea to maybe silence the moderators for 24-48 hours each so they understand what exactly they are doing to the players when they oh-so-carelessly press the silence button.
I like how OP actually added the mod inferno to the list after clear sarcasm. Also, what's this petition even for? It says it's to give them a "taste of their own medicine" but it doesn't really state how. It seems like a "support me if you feel butthurt over mods too!" You do know that petitions won't solve anything. After reaching your goal of numbered butthurts, devs can be like "nope. You don't spend enough money for us to care" or say "nope. You're being stupid."
